The Wings' season is over, but there's still plenty left to talk about on our latest episode of WIIM Radio. Join along as me, Graham, and Kyle break things down while Michelle joins in to edify your asses on the lads in the pipeline. Here's what we got up to.
The Red Wings are Done - What doomed the Wings this season and into the playoffs? How much of it was just bad luck versus how much of it was stuff they did wrong all season long?
How to Right the Ship - Fixing the power play (including dealing with Abdelkader), time to stop "playing safe" and playing the damn kids for better or worse.
Making the Moves - Ken Holland talks about getting more aggressive with trades. We take a look at some names out there and some potential trade destinations for Jimmy Howard.
Prospects Report - With the Griffins still alive, Michelle runs us down the Griffins as they get ready for their 2nd round series against Lake Erie in the Calder Cup playoffs.
Reader Questions - Y'all didn't get any FMKs or duck/Tangradi questions, so Kyle and Graham had a great time while I suffered through hosting this portion. Thanks a lot.
The Rest of the Playoffs - Who do we hate the least who's left. Find out!

Tonight's special guest is Elizabeth Cucinotta Sorvillo, an attorney, author, mother, and advocate for children, child sex abuse survivors and animals. Elizabeth is the author of "Controlled Burn: Exposing Child Sex Abuse and Corruption at America's Largest Private Catholic High School," a detailed account of how two women, sexually harassed by their teachers at the same Franciscan educational institution twenty years apart, came together to expose the hypocrisy and systematic corruption that shielded decades of child sexual abuse and abusers from the public. Elizabeth has been named to the list of Catholic clergy abuse whistleblowers by BishopAccountability.org and consulted for the top school sexual abuse attorneys in the United States. She has provided critical information to private investigators, and several state departments of education and Catholic dioceses. She is currently consulting on several school related sexual assault and harassment cases, as well as working on investigations regarding multi-state corporate scams. Elizabeth has over twelve years of experience in the media and has been interviewed in The New York Times, The Journal News, New York Daily News, The Times of Israel, and The Nonprofit Quarterly. She has appeared on WNBC New York, Fox News, News 12 Westchester, New York 1, and in documentaries produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Her LinkedIn profile says the following, "I am an advocate, through and through and through. If you need help, contact me here by messaging me on this page. Into protecting children and animals. Always."
HARRISON, AR—When six former Confederate officers gathered in the winter of 1865 to establish a private social club, none of them could have dreamed that their small group would one day grow into America’s preeminent white nationalist organization, one that embodies the values of faith, family, and community that have always been the bedrock of this great country.
But today, the order of the Ku Klux Klan has become so much more than just a small club of devoted white Americans. The modern KKK has evolved past its humble beginnings into a thriving coalition of the country’s brightest and boldest, a swelling army of individuals dedicated to preserving and celebrating white culture. And with its membership rolls growing on a daily basis, no one can deny that the KKK is back on top, fully in charge, and looking confidently toward the future.

Have you ever had the experience of creating a lesson plan that you think is great and the kids will love it, and then it just doesn't work? What do you do? Do you keep going and teach the lesson even when you know it’s not working? If you stop the lesson then what? What do you do with the kids for the rest of the period. Has an experience like this stifled your creativity because you don’t want to risk another “bad” lesson?
As teachers we have all been there. There are times when what you have planned just doesn’t work. Simone Padur, APS teacher, is brilliant in her ability to deal with these unforeseen circumstances that can just throw off your day. She will share real life experiences from her classroom and will talk about how she turned the situations around. Not only did she turn the situations around, but so much greater came from what could have been disasters. Simone is a kind and caring teacher with a lightness and openness that kids love that also provide an atmosphere of growth and learning.
