Feeble Minds: The Ghosts of Letchworth Village by Jason Stanton

In Feeble MInds: The Ghosts of Letchworth Village, Jason Stanton delivers a riveting tale of his years investigating an asylum in Rockland County, New York, active with the spirits of the dead tortured residents. With the help of a guardian spirt that leads him to safety, he faces menacing ghosts that wander the expanse of this institution closed down in 1996.

Jason diligently recreates the probable history and characters pieced together in his account of what life was like for residents and staff during the 1940's, including standard and experimental treatments for psychiatric disorders.

Take a walk through a frightening and mysterious building and cemetery  where all that remains of the former residents are numbers on identical markers,  and energy from the past wandering the rooms and hallways of a place that was so cruel to them in life.

Holly Stephey talks to Joint Information center about Oil spill in Santa Barbara

    in News

In this pre recorded show I talk to "Joint Information Center" about the current situation in Santa Barbara and the oil spill. Make sure to be prepared to take down the website and Phone number you may call to volunteer or help!

This Oil Spill has affected so many people and our wildlife in so many ways and they are working round the clock to help however they can ..It was enough to prompt Gov. Jerry Brown to declare a state of emergency for Santa Barbara County.

The cleanup could last months, officials said. For now, currents, tides and winds make the oil plume "a moving target" as it drifts offshore, said U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Jennifer Williams.

"It's a continual effort," added U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer David Mosley. "It's not something that we can say, 'Yeah, we are hitting it out of the park,' but it's something our guys are dedicated to."

The size of the spill, which began contaminating California's beaches on Tuesday, is equivalent to the volume of water the average American residence uses in a year.

As of Thursday, vessels had skimmed 7,770 gallons of oily water from the ocean, McMichael said.
