    Big Mac Attack

    in Internet

After years of enjoying some of the most secure machines online, lately the vaunted Mac has gotten some worms in its core.  Everyone from CBS correspondent Sharyl Attkisson to 17,000 Macs that were recently infected with botnets were reported on media sources. To make matters worse, on October 21, Apple posted a security warning for users of its iCloud online storage service amid reports of a concerted effort to steal passwords and other data from people who use the popular service in China.  Even a trio of Google security engineers chimed in by revealong how a design flaw in SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 3.0 could be exploited by criminals. Those hackers could use POODLE to steal browser session cookies, then use the cookies to impersonate victims at websites where they make online purchases, receive email or store files in cloud services.  So if you are a mac user, you need to tune into this episode of Working the Web to Win before you come down with a Big Mac Attack.

Is investigative journalism a thing of the past?

    in Politics

CBS reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, talks about the shrinking role of investigative journalism in today’s media and the lengths that opponents will go to to discourage and obstruct legitimate reporting.

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.

Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.

But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!

If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!

It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!

#CDCwhistleblower Twitter Parties to shame the Press

    in Family

Parents have stormed Twitter the past few nights to shine the light on this story and I am determined to continue pushing for a one hour TWEET STORM every night during OPERATION INFINITE TWEET as we wait for the Main Stream Media to step up to the plate and do some real investigative journalism on this story.

If history is any indication, we will be waiting a long, long time for any network coverage.  But today investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson wrote a fair report on her personal web site, so there is hope. Jon Rappoport has also written some of the best expose's on his personal blog. And of course Mike Adams at Natural News made it possible for the story to go out in the first place. Dr. Andrew Wakefield and Brian Hooker need to be held up as heros for the long term roles they have played in this story.

To arms my brothers and sisters...Tweet Away! at #CDCwhistleblower hashtag until your fingers bleed!

Is Sgt. Bergdahl a Hero or a Deserter? Plus,Jay Carney's Successor and His Role

    in Politics Conservative

Another day, another lawless act by the Obama regime, this time the release of five Gitmo detainees in exchange for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who has been held in Afghanistan since June 30, 2009. Was Sgt. Bergdahl actually captured, or, as some strong evidence suggests, did he willingly walk away from duty? Does that matter? Does it matter that, once again, Barack Obama violated a duly-enacted Congressional statute, which requires that he give 30 days notice to Congress prior to transferring prisoners from Gitmo. The One acknowledges that he broke the law, but says it doesn't matter because he issued a signing statement when he signed the law last year, declaring the notification unconstitutional. And he should know, of course, as a "former Constitutional law professor," right? Ok, he was an adjunct lecturer who only got into law school owing to affirmative action, but that aside, where are the screams and gnashing of teeth from those who were so outraged over Pres. George W. Bush's use of signing statements? I can't help but notice that while W asserted that he would ignore aspects of Congressional enactments to protect the American public from terrorism, B.Hussein does so to release 5 detainees deemed "high risk" in "08 to obtain the release of a guy who, three days before going missing stated in an email to his parents "“I am ashamed to be an American. And the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools,” he concluded. “I am sorry for everything. The horror that is America is disgusting.” I guess reading that last sentence you can see why Barack Obama has a soft spot in his heart for this guy.  Jay Carney's had enough of being a paid liar for the Regime. What did Jay's successor, Josh Earnest have to do with the Benghazi coverup?

Federal "Experiment" Deprived Premature Babies of Oxygen; Risks Hidden from Pare

    in Politics

Sharyl Attkisson of The Daily Signal published a shocking piece titled, "Full Disclosure: Did Government's Experiment on Preemies Hide Risks?" (June 03, 2014)

The article outlines how the federal government's National Institute of Health (part of the Department of Health & Human Services) conducted a "study" called SUPPORT, which stands for "Surfactant, Positive Airway Pressure, and Pulse Oximetry Randomized Trial."

The government-funded experiment ordered that 1,316 extremely premature infants be provided with different amounts of supplementary oxygen.  Half of the group received a 'higher' dose while the others received a 'lower' dose.

Many parents have come forward claiming that they were never told anything about oxygen levels being manipulated and only that the SUPPORT study was to offer 'support' to their delicate babies.

The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine with the following conclusion:

"A lower target range of oxygenation (85 to 89%), as compared with a higher range (91 to 95%), did not significantly decrease the composite outcome of severe retinopathy or death, but it resulted in an increase in mortality and a substantial decrease in severe retinopathy among survivors. The increase in mortality is a major concern, since a lower target range of oxygen saturation is increasingly being advocated to prevent retinopathy of prematurity. (ClinicalTrials.gov number, NCT00233324.)"

So there you have it, the study confirmed that because certain babies were provided with less oxygen...they died.

Is this the government that you want in charge of your healthcare system?
