Join us this week as we welcome country music singer songwriter, Shari Rowe. Hailing from Glendale, AZ., Shari fuses classic country with bluegrass and blues-rock flair. The Lamon Records recording artist traded in private living room concerts, for the big stage, performing with acts such as Big and Rich, Uncle Si and Marsha Robertson, and Maddie and Tae. Shari spends most of her time on the road, taking her high energy performances as far as Poland. When she’s not touring, Shari uses her powerful voice to lead worship in her church, around her family. Shari’s music is defined by her Arizona childhood, where she grew surrounded by her musical family, singing by the campfire, day after day of horseback riding. Those elements, the outdoors, family, and adventure, are clear themes in her music. More importantly, Shari’s sincere soul and charisma shines through each song. Her recent EP Album "Moonshine" released in May of 2015 and her single from that album "Family Gathering" became her first release to Music Row. Her latest album is available on all digital outlets. We will talk to Shari about her upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at her music, feature her latest songs, and ask her to share her message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Shari Rowe at http://sharirowe.com/ and spread the word. Fans are welcome to call in and speak live with Shari during the show (718) 766-4193. If you would like to participate in the live chat during the show, you must sign up on the show site first and then log in during the show. The King of DC Media, William Powell, welcomes Director\Writer\Actrees Kathleen Davison of the paranormal-inspired movie Primrose Lane and her romance film Efflorescesce. Dial 347.884.8997 to speak with the guest or the host.
If your friends and family went missing, how far would you go to find them? What if you had to travel lifetimes?
Primrose Lane … time is of the essence.
Primrose Lane was inspired by actual paranormal events that occurred in the circa 1885 Victorian mansion that Kathleen Davison and her family lived in for six years. Two paranormal teams (unrelated to the film) were called in to investigate the home and they not only confirmed it to have paranormal activity, they reported it to be one of the most active homes that they had ever investigated. We offer a paranormal panel discussion with Kathleen and the original investigators that has proven a hit at festivals. Primrose Lane is in development to continue as the episodic series, The Passage, along with the adjunct show, Paranormal Living, that will feature an variety of paranormal investigators (ranging from scientific approach, to spiritual belief, to quantum physics and beyond) who will discuss the concepts presented in each episode and relate it to famous actual investigations throughout history, illuminating and connecting a vast array of theories.
This weeks interview is with Fine Art Photographer Shari Emme with host Michael Harris. Shari Emme has been involved in various aspects of the creative arts for many years outside of her full-time career in the legal field. More recently, she began pursuing a greater focus of her creative interests in photography and painting. Employing both Lightroom and Photoshop, she enjoys working with color saturation and vibrancy, as well as variations of light, to emphasize a sense of texture and bring added depth to the detail in her photographs. For her abstract paintings, she utilizes assorted structure techniques to produce dimension within the pieces. Shari has also written poetry for several years and finds that interweaving ideas from this art form with her photography and painting provides deeper inspiration in her artistry.
“I love to play with color and texture with my work. I want to draw the viewer's interest into seeing a subject from a different perspective through the incorporation of these aspects. I believe that creativity unites people, soothes our souls and provides us with inspiration to make the world a better place.”
