It's an R rated week here on the Punch Drunk Podcast as we tackle Sex and Murder, but maybe not in that particular order. First up we have the follow up to the surprise hit The Purge which, let's face it, has one of the coolest premises in horror as of late. Then it's in to the bedroom of Cameron Diaz and Jason Segal in Sex Tape. Does Diaz recapture the R rated comedy that gave her superstardom in There's Something About Mary? Find out here, this week, on The Punch Drunk Podcast!

Join The Gist of Freedom as we discuss Russell Simmons' Harriet Tubman's Sex Tape with Attorney and Hip Hop Historian Joseph Haynes Davis! This piece was released on Russell Simmons' Youtube channel and stirred up some controversy. Russell has since released an apology for the video.
There is much buzz in the ATL and abroad about the recent release of a sex tape. Millions have watched the woman featured in the tape, struggle with her decision to make it and release it. The shame and embarrasment that often comes from such a decision may be too high of a price to pay. This behavior however, is not limited to reality tv. personalities. Women all over the country are making and releasing their own personal "sex tape" videos for reasons of their own. It seems as if women have lost the very essence of their being and what should be for their man (husband), is now casually shared with any Tom, Dick and Harry. This discussion will center around sex, the sacredness of it and why we need to tell our bodies NO when it is screaming YES. Sex is a beautiful thing designed to be shared within marriage. There is a reason God said it. HE wants us to get it in but with our hubbie/wifey. If anyone doubts that, read the Song of Solomon.....a record of a love affair that will take your breath away.
