The Total Tutor Neil Haley and Rico Racosky will intrerview Dr. Mitchell Yass.
Chronic pain has become an international epidemic—an estimated one billion people across the globe suffer every day. And, what Dr. Mitchell Yass has found over his 20-year career is that many of these people suffer needlessly. While the current medical model for treating pain isn’t helping, there is hope—and that’s what this book is about.
In The Pain Cure Rx, Dr. Mitchell Yass presents the Yass Method, an alternative model of treatment that can resolve pain quickly and effectively without surgery or medication. While working with more than 14,000 patients, Dr. Yass realized that many cases of chronic pain are the result of misdiagnosis and thus improper treatment. In the medical community today, most chronic pain is attributed to a structural problem, such as a herniated disc, stenosis, a meniscal tear, or arthritis. But Dr. Yass has found that in about 90 percent of these cases, the cause is
actually a muscular weakness or imbalance—a condition that’s easy to treat on your own with very little equipment. The Yass Method focuses on getting the proper diagnosis—finding the true source of the pain—and then using simple exercises to find lifelong relief.

Many business owners and investors doing business in multiple states often wonder whether their company, which is set up in one state, also needs to be registered into the other state(s) where they are doing business. In analyzing whether you need to register your out of state company in a state where you do business or own property it is helpful to understand two things: First, what does the state I’m looking to do business in require of out of state companies; and Second, what is the penalty for failure to comply.
Join Bill and Rick to explore these practical distinctions in order to keep your business protected and prosperous.
Blood is a specialized body fluid. It has four main components: plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Blood has many different functions, including:
transporting oxygen and nutrients to the lungs and tissues
forming blood clots to prevent excess blood loss
carrying cells and antibodies that fight infection
bringing waste products to the kidneys and liver, which filter and clean the blood
regulating body temperature
The blood that runs through the veins, arteries, and capillaries is known as whole blood, a mixture of about 55 percent plasma and 45 percent blood cells. About 7 to 8 percent of your total body weight is blood. An average-sized man has about 12 pints of blood in his body, and an average-sized woman has about 9 pints.
The liquid component of blood is called plasma, a mixture of water, sugar, fat, protein, and salts. The main job of the plasma is to transport blood cells throughout your body along with nutrients, waste products, antibodies, clotting proteins, chemical messengers such as hormones, and proteins that help maintain the body's fluid balance.
The "I have a dream speech by Martin L.King debuted in Detroit over fifty years ago on June 23, 1963 and changed the course of this nation, and re-imagined what was possible. Born that same year on July 23rd, I recently celebrated my 52nd Birthday, and realize that my life has been engulfed inside the Civil Rights, and parallels closely with the transformation I endured causing me to re-imagine the little black girl born in 1963 also,
Today we are sharing about the healing that must occur between these two cultures that caused such strong divisional lines of hatred, distrust, and pain merely based on skin tone. Although our nation has become much more diverse and Civil Rights are being fought for so many more, we still have a core pain in cities across the nation that still reek with the racial tension of the past.
Today, let's look at racial reconciliation and find ways to re-imagine ourselves, our cities and our nation.
What's possible for us today should we have dialogue about the pain we have both experienced? Our featured guest, poet and author Alicea Davis has a special message for healing our communities and racial reconciliation. Join me as she shares what she has re-imagined for us here in Detroit, and the work she's doing to close the gap in our consciousness so we see ourselves anew - as citizens of the same family. May we all remember our Divine heritage, our spiritual birthrights, and co-creative powers for creating a miraculous world.
Let's re-imagine our self-image, re-create our belief in everyone's worthiness, and choose to live in excellent communities that flourish abundantly with knowledge, intelligence and resources to be self-sustaining.

3 The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”
4 And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made[a] them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’[b] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?[c] 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
7 They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?”
8 He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality,[d] and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.”

Our guest this Morning is Marc Lewis, Ph. D., author of The Biology of Desire: Why Addiction Is Not a Disease. This amazing book is chock full of the latest neuroscience, telling not only how brains get addicted to drugs but also how they recover and heal, showing that neuroplasticity is a two-edged sword. A great antidote to the drug war propaganda put forth by NIDA.
