Have you ever thought of Jesus as both Master and Servant? In today's episode I will discuss how Jesus is both Master and Servant, the law of opposites and balance. I also discuss how the Sermon on the Mount, by the way it is one of only a few times that Jesus preached. Most of the time he taught which is why he was called Rabbi. And then I discuss the Sermon on the Mount as being spiritual rather than religious. Hope you enjoy today's lesson.

Philippians 2:5-11 (NASB) says -
Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus
Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
It is mind boggling that our Lord was so humble, that He came to earth as a man, and made Himself of no reputation. Jesus didn’t flaunt the fact that He was God, or equal to God. The Lord’s reputation meant nothing. Basically the Lord humbly chose to lay aside His rank and dignity to come into our world.
Our humble Lord is highly exalted and He has promised that those who humble themselves before Him, and believe in Him will also be exalted and lifted up to rule and reign with Him. Let us put off pride so we can see the Lord Jesus.
Please join us for the study of God's word.

Servant Leadership - Round Table Discussion
December 20, 2014 – Radio Show @ 8pm CST
"The King (leader) shall consider as good, not what pleases himself but what pleases his subjects (followers)." ~ Chanakya aka Kautilya, in his book – Arthashastra from 4th century BCE
"You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you, instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of God did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many." ~ Mark 10: 42-45
WHAT ARE THE QUALITIES OF THE SERVANT LEADER?
HOW DO YOU BECOME A SERVANT LEADER?
HOW DOES A SERVANT LEADER FIND INSPIRATION?
An excellent example of a servant leader is Ernest Shackleton, the early 20th century explorer who, after his ship became frozen in the Antarctic life, brought every one of his 27 crew home alive, including an 800 mile journey in open boats across the winter Antarctic seas. It took two years, but Shackleton's sense of responsibility towards his men never wavered.
The Heart of a Servant Leader paints a vivid picture of the lifestyle, actions and, care one takles on behalf of others while submitted to following through on the will of God. It will bless you, it will encourage you and it will inspire you to take action or to continue the actions reflecting a SERVANT OF GOD.

Jane of Saint Erasmus - As in many other lives we read of a woman, the epitome of all that is righteous and holy, whose marriage was difficult and loveless and whose husband was given to gambling and quarrelling, even duelling
Fulfilling her role as wife and housewife, and as mediator for her husband she endeavoured to convert him to better ways.
She was to be host to her husband’s friends and mother to the poor and sick and in doing this proved such an example to her husband that he converted to better ways.
Jane experienced a mighty impulse to enter a convent, when he returned she asked him leave to enter a convent and he refused because he now loved her and valued her as wife. While previously she had desired him to love her and now he does love her she wants to go off to a nunnery.
Her name in Religion was Jane of St. Erasmus – her husband’s name out of her gratitude to him She pledged to him the best of her merits and once his death was near, offered to suffer his purgatory.
At fifty-five years of age Jane happily observed the strictest practices of the novices and regarded herself as the lowliest one of all. During the nineteen years remaining to her Jane was a model to every one of her sisters; her extraordinary graces from god were confirmed when she was seen in ecstasy and raised above the ground.
At the very sight of the image of our Lord scourged at the pillar Jane would break out with tears in compassion for her Lord. Forbidden from gazing upon it by her superiors, Jane never looked toward it again.
Jane died whilst making the sign of the Cross as she said it.
Our concious mind is only ancillary servant, you may think it differently, however word reality governs. Don't ask yourself if I am right, just check the etymology of the word and you will see it is a fact, and you should be alot more cautious of what you think, speak and do. You may not have known who you are all this time, and never knew that an order/program inside your brain controls your conscious mind.
THE POSITION OF A SERVANT. Many in the church desire to witness the miracles and wonders of God, yet find themselves out of position. In this segment, Dr. Allen examines the position of a servant and discusses the benefits of a humble heart.
Join me tonight as I discuss the Solar Plexus Chakra and the two Jungian archetypes, the Servant and the Warrior.
