Did you know that Italy is the largest producer of wine in the world by volume? Or that there are more than one million vineyards cultivated a year? Or that Italy is the 5th largest wine consuming nation in the world? That information you can get from Wikipedia but our wine connoisseur, Charles Curtis, founder of Wine Alpha will tell you the stuff that Wikipedia can’t; what to drink, what to buy and why.
Jeannie will be live at noon on July 30th with Charles as we examine Italian wines and grapes comprehensively from Barbera to Sangiovese.

while I am on vacation, I am running a series on Prayer that I did last year and had the greatest number of listeners of any shows that I have done on Blog Talk Radio.
Since prayer is and always will be our ability to communicate with God, let us know about prayers that really work, how we can know God's absolute perfect will for our lives, and how to get our prayers answered - every time.
Todays show is about the vast heirarachy of workers who are standing at attention, alert, ready-willing-and-able to make all of your prayers come to pass.
In August, cartoonist Aaron McGruder, creator of the infamous Boondocks comic strip and cartoon series will premier a new show titled "Black Jesus" on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim time slot. The comedy parody show features a live action series of Jesus as a black man in Compton, CA. This show has brought about good and negative publicity for AS and McGruder, but how should black pastors engage the show and the viewers? Is the show any more offensive than Jesus Christ Superstar, Tyler Perry's Madea series, or even George Burns' O God movie series?
Bring your lunch and join us live on Wednesdays at noon to hear The Prayer Journey. Internationally known Pastor, Ministry Leader and Motivational Speaker, Rev Dr Pablo Diaz guides us in our quest to become more intimate with God in the series The Prayer Journey. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, He will provide insight and practical steps to help you along your path of achieving greater intimacy.

SHOW NOTES: This is part of the JOYFUL ART OF BUSINESS™ series and our episode today is, “Fake it ’Til You Make It?”
This is a popular concept and we need to really explore what it means!
1) What are we faking?
2) What is confidence?
Belief in yourself that is communicated to other people. It strongly correlates to power as people believe in leaders who believe in themselves.
“Confidence,” he told us, “is the stuff that turns thoughts into action.” (http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2014/04/the-confidence-gap/359815/)
3) Why are we faking it?
Because it is necessary, we don’t have it and we know it. Effective (and contented) leaders (of an organization, of a family, of a group, etc.) believe in themselves and then have a much easier time having other people follow their lead.
“Success, it turns out, correlates just as closely with confidence as it does with competence.” […] “When people are confident, when they think they are good at something, regardless of how good they actually are, they display a lot of confident nonverbal and verbal behavior,” [...] “They do a lot of things that make them look very confident in the eyes of others,” he added. “Whether they are good or not is kind of irrelevant.” (http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2014/04/the-confidence-gap/359815/)
4) So, what is the problem with faking it?
Everyone else knows that we don’t have it and are just faking it.
