Urban Therapy with Sun #122 Independence vs Needing No Man

    in Lifestyle

What does it mean for a woman who is attracted to men to not need no man? Is it about financial independence? Self sufficiency? Sexual Frigidity? Something else? Is not needing a man a defense mechanism? If so, as a defense to what?

Why does it seem like not needing a man is more of a Black woman thing? Do Black women wear the independence from male companionship badge more than women of other races and/or ethnic backgrounds? Why would this be if it is the case? Do women of other races need men in their lives more than Black women do? Is there something else at work or does it just seem that way?

What about intimacy? What do women that say that they don't need no man do about intimacy? Isn't intimacy important for all people?

Is needing a man seen as a weakness by some women? Is needing someone a weakness?

Does the absence of an influential male in the home growing up have anything to do with any of this?

Is there a big difference between needing someone and wanting someone?

Why don't you hear very many men claiming to not need women? Why the imbalance?

There's more to this. Much, much more. Don't miss this episode. It's gonna be too much!

America is being Tricked by a Muslim Leader, into becoming a Muslim Empire

    in Politics Conservative

WHAT HISTORY BOOK DID OBAMA READ: ‘Islam Woven Into the Fabric of America Since Its Founding is absolutely absurd.  Please, do tell, Mr. President. How many of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence regularly attended a Mosque? We hear a lot about the United States’ Judeo-Christian heritage, but according to President Obama, “Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding. Obama has said similar things in the past: I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story,” Obama said in a June 2009 speech in Cairo, Egypt. “Islam has always been part of America,” he said in a 2010 statement marking the start of Ramadan. And in a 2014 statement marking Eid, Obama said the holiday “also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy. Obama is a sick man and strong America must rise up and stand up to the treasonous tyranny he is presenting America with. Tune in for the rest of the story Thursday morning at 11AM est March 5, 2015

    Celebrating Two Great Events!

    in Finance

Two special days today. It is National Anthem Day and National Pancake Day.

Written by Francis Scott Key, the Star Spangled Banner officially became the national anthem of the United States of America on March 3rd, 1931 by a congressional resolution signed by President Herbert Hoover.

After watching the bombardment of Fort McHenry from a prison ship, Francis Scott Key wrote the poem titled, “Defence of Fort M’Henry” on September 14, 1814. Thus, 38 years after declaring independence the United States was still at war with England.

In recent history, IHOP restaurants began National Pancake Day in 2006.  Since that day, they have raised $16 million for charities.  Today, people from around the country will once again celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants and enjoy free short stack of pancakes.  Guests are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Sometimes freedom is a long fight. And sometimes you can enjoy your labor and give back at the same time.
