  • RWN Radio – Separation of Church and State: Redefined “Protection”?

    in US Government

There seems to be much debate recently over what precisely the "Establishment Clause" and the "Free Exercise Clause" mean when seen through the filter of "freedom of religion" and "Free Speech".

What were the intentions of our forefathers, and how are politicians and assorted sectarian religious groups attempting to not only redefine these constitutional protections, but also use their interpretations as a means of denying the same freedoms and protections to others, as well as breed hate and discrimination.

On this week's Real World News, we'll be discussing the notion of "Separation of Church and State".

You’re invited to join the heated discussion on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at 5:30pm PST/8:30pm EST.

The live call-in number to listen and comment is (646)200-3148.  Or listen and join the chatroom here on Blog Talk Radio, or from our website at www.hottopicstalkradio.com/realworldnews.

    Separation of Church and state

    in Christianity

Maybe the biggest election in our lives will be coming up in the next year.  Both sides seam to be dug in.  It's probably a great to think, is Jesus a republican or a democrat.  Is Jesus for us half the time, and the other half we just have to be about "our own business"( or business is business we hear a lot)

I can separate something in a lot of way, separation of Church and state would intially make me think that you would take a sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle.  One side against another.  I think our constitution proves that the Providential care and direction of God had our leaders set this thing about with a line drawn across the top of the paper( horizontal) suggesting one was over the other... Jesus did make a few exceptions.  Let's see

Separation of church and state and the government official

    in Current Events

This administration, via fiat has, for all intensive purposes, created law around the idea that Christians must serve Jesus as they define him. (Via bloodhounds, trumped up charges, and, subsequently,  even purposefully consuming the time of a creative type) - Get it?  Neither law, nor legislation is required to partake of the devil bidding, and, one day, reserving judgment unto whom judgement is due, it won't be the devil to pay - everything will be the Lord's.  So go ahead and refer to yourself as a Constitutional scholar if you like, totally your right, but you might be wrong.

Should our elected officials be allowed to call on God's word while on duty?  In light of the aforementioned then, who is "fair game" - in terms of "grown up" debate resulting from official action?

Where does Islam exist amongst our ungodly quagmire?  The Klein case should be sent back to the Supreme Court.  Why, well we are going to discuss that today.

Separation of Church And State Discussion

    in Christianity

Thanks again for taking time to be with us tonight.  As people of faith do we fill the need that our voice be heard in what is happening around the world today?  Do we think we need to shout from the house tops, "that God said the practice of homosexuality is a sin?" Do we feel the need to call out our leaders in government on the hot topics of politics that we feel attack what we believe?  Do we feel that we need to talk about it and make a plan to circumvent the direction the government is going?  Take a moment and ask yourself these questions.  Then answer these.  Has the government stopped you from going to the church of your choice?  Has the government ever forced you to marry someone you did not want to marry? Has the government ever stopped you from praying? Has the government stopped you from the right to have children, or forced you to have an abortion?  Are you thinking?  Lets try going someplace else.  Have you ever heard that the squeaky wheel gets the grease?  Have you heard that actions speak louder then words?  As people of faith have you ever heard that love is a verb and not just a noun?  Do you have ears and can no longer hear or see your part in how you can make things worse?  God tells us that there is life and death in the tongue. Nowhere in the word of God do we read of God ever liking a whining people!  Never approving having a spirit of fear!  Never telling us when looking at the signs of the end time to place blame and use our tongue to attack people!  If to be Christ like is to be like Jesus, what we call being a christian.  WWJD, When things turned against Jesus what did he say?  One more to think about before Wild Bill kicks off the show.  Do you know what the word hypocrite means?

Domestic Affairs and Separation of Church and State from a Christian Perspective

    in Religion

Tonight’s show promises to be explosive!

The "Cloward-Piven Strategy” is in full flux, today and if you're not aware of what that is, you may want to tune in. Tonight’s show will illustrate how that strategy fits perfectly with myriad existing problems. From open boarders, illegal bank foreclosures, bank fraud, threats of war, threats of homeland invasion, the imminent Yellowstone disaster, riots in Missouri, police brutality and the militarization of our police may seem overwhelming.

Tonight’s BE STING TALK RADIO show will concentrate on how little time is left in our lives to study, feed and groom our souls. And, we’ll historically study the constitutional intentions behind Separation of Church and State and the extreme mistreatment that law endures.

The walls are closing in folks, best to keep you head on a swivel.

Separation of Church and State: A Wall of Deliberate Deception

    in News

One of the most insidiously perverse yet effective weapons being used in the war against Christians and Christianity in the United States is supposedly derived from our nation's founding document—the U.S. Constitution itself. It's likely that you've heard people speak or write about the "separation of church and state" or the "wall of separation" with authority. Perhaps in discussion with friends, family members or even ministers, priests and pastors, you've heard claims that the U.S. Constitution calls for the separation of church and state. Those citing such a mandated separation usually cite the First Amendment to reinforce their claims. The fact of the matter, however, is that it's simply not true.

Have we not seen the Internal Revenue Service being used as a weapon to stifle and silence political opposition against the administration of Barack Hussein Obama? Have we not seen allegations of Obama using the IRS to delay the issuance of tax-exempt applications, especially for those groups who stand firmly in the Christian conservative pro-life, pro-Second Amendment camps? This is just one reason why having a firm knowledge and understanding of history is so important. It provides us with insight into the tactics of tyranny.
