Tess Thompson is a mother before all else, and a writer after that. She’s also a Zumba dancing queen, though the wearing of the crown is reserved for invitation-only appearances. After honing her craft in theater with a prize-winning play titled My Lady’s Hand, her heart was called to a different storytelling medium: the great American novel. But, as she recently said to a friend, “Well, maybe not ‘great’ but certainly American.”
The first of these, Riversong (Booktrope Editions), went on to become #1 on Barnes and Noble’s Nook Book chart in October 2011. Two years after its release, readership of Riversongcontinues to grow, spending weeks in the top 100 Kindle bestsellers; it’s known amongst her friends and family as “the little book that could.”
Caramel and Magnolias, the first in the Legley Bay Collection was released in the fall of 2012. In May of 2013 Tess released the sequel to Riversong called Riverbend and the third in the collection, Riverstar, in August 2013. Tea and Primroses, the second in the Legley Bay Collection was released February 16, 2014. The first in the Blue Mountain Collection, Blue Midnight was released June 30, 2014.
She’s currently working on her first historical fiction, Duet For Three Hands, which will be released December 2014.

Dr. Jeremiah A. (Stands for Awesome) Wright. This Mental Giant as I call him. Is a man of faith, a homiletic genius, a theological scholar and a pastor’s pastor. He is a family man who enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Dr Wright teaches us where all the Holy books come from. Our true connection to God no matter what name you have given the "Great I AM that I AM" God has over 600 names.
If you were to change the world as you know it now and place Africa as the center of the earth the way is was originally before the Europeans changed it you would have a different prospective right. So look at this and many more jaw dropping truths, "For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad."
“Walking with God is to stand where God stands, and to fight for whom God fights: the poor, the weak, the powerless and the defenseless. Walking with God is to have the courage to know that fear and trepidation before the might of the powerful is overturned by the fear of the Lord! Walking with God is to understand, without doubt or equivocation that justice is what Yahweh requires.

This is Beyond the Airwaves: The Infinity Project, where we go beyond the mainstream media and tackle issues that don't seem so important to the major networks.
One of our team members will be spending Labor Day Weekend in Atlanta for the annual geekfest known simply as...Dragon Con. Oddball Extreme will be calling in live from one of the largest pop-culture conventions east of the Mississippi River. She's not gonna let two isolated Ebola patients stop her from having a good time! (And she doesn't have to get drunk for that, either!) We'll also discuss the huge impact other events have had over the years at this Con, including not one but two college football games going on nearby at the Georgia Dome, the annual NASCAR race, and Braves pro baseball at the same time not too far away. Can sports fans and sci-fi geeks live in harmony for one weekend?
Ikari Chaos-San is the founder and creator. Shirley is truly the Oddball Extreme. Janet is our resident Arizona Magician. Tim is the Tokusatsu Master. Heather is Queen Kitty Serenity. MikeBoyens is our video game wizard. We'll also have appearances by our friends from the MAD HOUSE, so come and listen in!
Visit our official website at http://beyondtheairwaves.weebly.com and don't forget to join in the conversation on the forums located on our official website. We want you guys and gals, the fans, to tell us what's on your mind and what you feel is important to cover, so let us know what you want to hear.

Jim and Jennifer welcome Dr. Dan Geller to the show. Dr. Geller is an experienced researcher and analyst, and an expert in statistical modeling. He developed the Money Anxiety concept and index after observing how a combination of economic indicators and factors impacts consumers' financial behavior. Specifically, he observed how financial anxiety impacts the saving and spending patterns of consumers, and the impact such changes in financial behavior have on the economy. Based on these observations, Dr. Geller developed a new segmentation method called Behavioralogy, which defines the financial behavior of consumers during various levels of financial anxiety. Behavioralogy identified six types of financial orientation: Mattress Money, Durable Diet, Power Play, Tiny Treats, Rate Race and Castle Craze. Dr. Geller is frequently featured in national and financial publications, such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg/Newsweek, and has appeared on CNBC, Fox News Radio, and numerous regional programs. Dr. Geller earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Touro University, and has published numerous peer-reviewed studies in professional publications. Website: http://www.moneyanxiety.com/
Rights of Blacks became an issue when American born Africans became legalized citizens of America in 1865. From that moment forward, constant objection to Africans being citizens of America brought hatred of the race. With African citizenship the poorest of Americans lost their place in society. The wealthiest of Americans lost their human property. They south lost the war, thereby lost the right to human ownership. The poor of the south had no class of people to master over. This is where we are today. Although the American born African was free, their were little rights to go along with that freedom. Equality for the freed people was not on the to-do-list of whites in America. Equality only began to make its way into society because there was always men who refused to be slaves. They created chaos and they gave their lives rather than be ensalved ever again. It was because of the deaths and terror in the land that whites come to realize they could find ways to follow the law, while denying blacks their rights. The Black Code Laws were adopted soon aftr slavery and so we live today constantly trying to change and eliminate those Black Code laws. Because blacks chose equality, eventually whites would stand with blacks for equality for all races. Whites were ortrichized and given names aking to names given to black, merely because they chose peace by endorsing equality for the races. The tool required to gain equality was at the ballot box. And so beginning in the 1940's the movement began. By the time the 50's ended blacks demanded more and was tired of waiting. By the 1960's the year of the flower children The races joined forces and and there were marches, and sit its to protest. Lives were lost but people keep marching. Read the March 15, 1965 speech LBJ gave to congress that fits into 2014. Pick up a Voters Guide and pick your politicians carefully.
Joe DeCicco is a retired New York City Detective who originally attended college to practice electrical engineering.
After working as a lighting designer for several years, life circumstances decreed that he join the New York City Police Department in 1973. He has spent more than half his service in plainclothes; including over four years as an Organized Crime Control Bureau narcotics investigator, one year with Brooklyn Central Robbery and more than three years with the Brooklyn South Detective Division assigned to the 62nd Squad in Bensonhurst. After spending twenty years on the streets of New York, Joe happily retired with over twenty awards and decorations on July 4th 1993, uniquely celebrating his own independence day and combining it with our Nation Holiday.
Joe explains that his writings come from an inner need to share his experiences with others in a well-defined attempt to show that, “The Job”, is not a vocation but an avocation that spans all the nuances of the human spirit. His entertaining works show sometimes complex personalities of those who choose to be the daily guardians of our society, while fulfilling the public’s ongoing interest with police work.

Inspiration of the Day
“Most people are not going after what they want.
Even some of the most serious goal seekers and goal setters,
they’re going after what they think they can get.”
author of It’s Not About The Money
So Now What?
What is the amount of money you want to earn in the next 12 months? Write that number down. Now add two “0”s after it. Does that number now scare you?
And does it scare you because you don’t know how you would ever reach such an audacious goal in such a short amount of time? Even if you’re not interested in spending that kind of money on yourself what about all the good you could do in the world by donating it to your favorite charities. Or better yet, start your own foundation to help people in need.
We don’t go for what we want, we go for what we think we can get or what we think we deserve.

African Americans consistently outpace the total market population in overall growth, smart phone ownership, television viewing and annual shopping trips according to the new study, “Resilient, Receptive and Relevant: The African-American Consumer 2013 Report,” a collaborative effort by the Nielsen Company in New York and the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA), located in Northwest Washington, D.C.
Black buying power continues to increase, rising from its current $1 trillion level to a forecasted $1.3 trillion by 2017.
Despite the strong economic outlook, blacks continue to spend most of their money outside of the African-American community and, according to Nielsen and NNPA, advertisers have repeatedly slighted the black media, spending only three percent, or $2.24 billion, of the $75 billion spent with all media last year.
Each year, African Americans spend more than $47 billion on Lincoln automobiles, $3.7 billion on alcohol, $2.5 billion on Toyotas, $2 billion on athletic shoes, and $600 million each year on McDonald’s and other fast foods, according to Target Market News Inc., a Chicago-based marketing research group.
When his son asked him to do a favor one day, Victor never imagined what the results would be. His son wanted help expanding his North American Power team into the new markets in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey.
Victor was a corporate professional working in engineering management and didn’t know much about expanding an energy choice team in various states, but when he became a Representative, he found that the free training and free webpage surprisingly helped him find fast success, and soon he became an Area Director.
“What I didn’t expect was an income that would allow me to spend time with my grandsons. When my kids were growing up, I had to spend 60 to 80 hours a week working, and saw so little of them. Now I have the pleasure of sharing this Opportunity to help lots of people with their own personal economic recovery.”
Victor’s wife is also looking forward to spending less time at her job. “That’s great, it’s already helping us meet our future goal of spending lots of time with our two grandsons, and not having to worry about finances while doing so. My suggestion for anyone considering the North American Power Opportunity is to just do it. If not this Opportunity, then what else? There are no more deregulated industries and North American Power is changing the playing field, in fact they’re changing the entire home-based business industry. Just do it!”
