What's the matter with Kansas? "The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy recently reported that Kansas has the ninth-most unfair tax system in the country. A Kansan earning $47,700 a year pays 9.5 percent of income in state and local taxes; but someone earning $1,191,700 pays an effective rate of just 3.6 percent."
So much for the 'trickle down' libertarian economic theories masterminded by the Wichita plutocrats Charles & David Koch; and implemented by Gov. Sam Brownback and his cronies in the state legislature.

The listing and the shuffling of Presidential candidates are great theater. We all figured Republicans to dance and change stage positions. Far more fascinating has been the quick and deep Elizabeth Warren-ization of Democrat hers-to-lose nominee Hillary Clinton.
Pardon the parochialism, but Sen. Warren is hot stuff...and he's ours in Massachusetts. Well, my favorite ex-hick became a Harvard Law professor (likewise her non-hick husband) and wealthy. Yet, she emerged as a major voice for the new populism. She's even more outspoken than Sen. Bernie Sanders.(I-VT).
Having had to tell supporters, worshipers and the media that she definitely won't run for POTUS, Warren is still in the raxe — as the touchstone for liberals, progressives, and well, sensible folk.
I'll hit on how Hillary as cannibalized Warren's policy, to good effect. After all, it's her one chance to sway lefties and indies who have been indifferent at best to her candidacy.. Meanwhile, poor Republicans run hither and yon putting o the varioua costumes of different troupes of right-wingers.

GOP presidential hopefuls turned up their attacks Saturday on Hillary Clinton -- taking turns piling on the 2016 Democratic presidential frontrunner during a party summit in New Hampshire.
The first five 2016 GOP presidential candidates or potential candidates used at least some of their stage time at the Republican Leadership Summit, in Nashua, N.H., to criticize Clinton, who is scheduled to be in the state Monday and Tuesday.
“I’m starting to worry that when Clinton travels she'll need two planes -- one for her and her entourage and one for her baggage,” said Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul, particularly critical of Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state in which four Americans were killed in Benghazi, Libya, and she used a private server and email address for official business.
“When I think of scandals, the one that bothers me the most is Benghazi,” he continued. “What I fault Hillary most for is for nine months (Americans in Benghazi) pleaded for help.”
Nearly 20 Republican White House prospects were on the program for the weekend conference that ended Saturday afternoon.

The Corker-Menendez Bill requires Congress to approve any actions the President takes re: Iran. Its a controversial piece of legislation that some are saying turns the Constitution on its head. Does it? Capitol Hill expert Elizabeth Letchworth Chryst analyzes the bill that reached bipartisan unanimous approved (19-0) by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
And... the Department of Justice has announced that it will NOT prosecute IRS' Lois Lerner for Contempt of Congress. The decision has caused outrage among justice-seeking organizations. What will/can Congress do about it, and what kind of impact will this decision have on Hillary Clinton's bid for the White House?
Yucca Mountain in Nevada is a federally designated nuclear waste site that has been sitting idle for 30 years, thanks to Harry Reid. Now that he's announced he won't run for Senate again, rendering him a lame duck, movement is already underway to shift the nuclear waste from the country's nuclear facilities to its rightful place in Nevada. We discuss.
Sec. Clinton and Sen. Rubio announced that they are both running for President in 2016 but does this really mean the Obama presidency will continue for a 3rd term? Listen tonight for the return on the Congress College radio show and your host, Elizabeth Chryst who was the first woman elected in the United States Senate to serve as the U. S. Senate Secretary for the Majority for the GOP. Elizabeth breaks down the code talk that comes out of Washington DC so that you can understand what is going on in Congress and what your DC representative is up to. After a break from the show, Elizabeth returns rested and ready to inform and educate on all things Congress. Tell your friends, family or even foes to turn in to Congress College or find the shows archived on GradeGov.com under the radio tab.
The Title says it all. Why. It makes sense. I come from your place, or very close to it, Even if we are at odds we are closer than others. I am not campaigning for your money, am not a Politician, will be among the best smart Commander-In-Chiefs, even protecting our military men and women. What are your problems or worries. They are many of mine because many of them touch me or have touched me, touched my family and people we know and don’t know. I know an unknown person has no chance to be seen by you. I know that its stupid to do this, and it even looks more stupid. But it’s not that stupid when you consider all the stupid things that are going on right now or that have just happened. Please see me in a better smart light. I say things that you may not like or want to hear. But they are for our own good, I must say them and bring them to light and right. There are some faulty people running for President. I am not one of them. I am one of us, if you can understand that in all its fullness. I know that when you get in the White House, things change. But I will be mind-fast heart-fast soul-fast honest-fast truth-fast. If you are a person I want better for you. If you are an animal I want better for you. If you are the earth I want better for you. The White House belongs to you, not to a Political Party but a person of the people, ordinary if necessary. I am Curtis Clinton, in fact, a better Clinton. If you see it that way, could you and will you put together 120,000,000 Write-In Ballots for a Presidency being for us, with just one of us in there seeing to a better United States and for Americans with blood types of O's, A's and B's. If that many are cast, we will not have a divided country or Congress. One caring willing doing person can start a better world. You can begin with such a President. I am here for you. This is not for me. thanks, bwell, c2it, i am c2 and Curt Clinton
It's the weekend. pull our your case of beer and kick your feet up.
Open lines tonight, although we have had some interesting topics to discuss like the whitehouse protester that killed himself, and the Cottonwood Walmart Shooting that took place on March 21st leaving one officer shot in the stomach. even with that, it didn't seem to get much media attention so no one even knew it happened. just goes to show cops don't get credit for showing restraint to the point it gets them shot.
Also we would like to give a shout out to AnonGhost, come say hi, we need to have a chat.

The Presidential election is already underway. Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Kentuck Senator Rand Paul have already entered the arena. We know others are already primed, ready to enter the race as well. From Gov. Rick Perry to Sen. Marco Rubio and Gov. Scott Walker, the Primary is going to be highly contested.
Join us as we get to know the details of each campaign and candidate. We'll share our insight and commentary and hopefully, ask some questions about the candidates that need to be answered.
We will have special guests with expertise in the election process and will have Grassroots activists from across the country on the line.
In a land where Christianity is under attack the it is very obvious the token gestures made but the Whitehouse to appease its "religious" base often reveal an underlined disdain for the Judeo-Christian history of this nation and the core values of the faith. Barack Obama's speech often betrays his true position on faith and seems to always refer to faith in the third person other than an innate claim of Christianity himself. In the midst of prominent clergy from across America he takes the opportunity again to chide Christians and fails to mention the growing persecution of Christians and the atrocities being levied by Muslim extremist.
