    I have worked with clients from a wide variety of non-profit and for-profit ventures, so I feel that that experience has made it possible for me to be more creative with account planning for current clients. I also work closely with a sales trainer to ensure that my clients have a saleable message and have the proper infrastructure and skills on the back end to make the most of their PR. I recognize that PR is one piece of a very big puzzle, so getting all of those pieces to work together is key. Of course, it involves clients wanting my advice on pieces of their brand or business that isn't strictly in the realm of public relations, which isn't always the case (sometimes people aren't interested in hearing about their broken sales process or improving their prospecting on LinkedIn). It also helps strategic PR to know how to help someone define their niche (again, if it doesn't scare them to tell them their market can't be "everyone"-- people have to want strategic PR for it to work).


    I am open to advice and input, whether it is from people who work for me or editors and producers, so I am constantly learning, improving, and adapting. I think not always believing that you know everything is the key to knowing everything (eventually).
