Its ambitious goal: sell everything to everyone everywhere.A recent article in The New York Times —“Inside Amazon: Wrestling Big Ideas in a Bruising Workplace” — offered a glimpse into what could be described as a workplace that is both bruising and thrilling. About the Book
When you hear a doctor say “If you don’t have massive blood transfusions now, you’ll die before morning” you know you’re in trouble. These words began a difficult journey as doctors tried to save my life after a massive bacterial infection invaded my body. It had eaten away portions of the lower discs and vertebrae in my spine, destroyed a kidney and gave me brain damage. Months in hospital, many more in a full body cast (from neck to knee) and two years to learn to walk again, speak more than three words in a sentence and get brain function back – plus rebuild a life with my young children. But this isn’t a sad story. I am taking you on a raw, authentic and emotional trek through losing my children, nearly dying, losing my home and having to regain skills and rebuild a life for my family. This is a story of hope and inspiration. I have taken each negative and turned it into a life lesson that anyone can apply every day to live a fuller life. My wish is that this book gives you hope!

In this episode we will discuss the fundamentals of selling yourself. A misconception is that we're not a salesperson unless we're in a sales profession. Not true...We've sold everyday of our life and started the day we were brought into this world. You cried when you were hungry...So your family fed you. You whined enough to get the item in the cashier line, and you continue to sell each day.

How to get out of your own way so that you can sell your high end programs-
I was inspired to write this since I’m getting so many emails and new clients that are having issues around confidence in their business. If you lack confidence then you’ll not charge what you’re worth, you’ll sabotage your success, and play small. There are many myths I want to dispel about putting yourself out there to attract more clients.
MYTH You need years of experience. Who says? This simply isn’t true, if you can help people get results this is proof. Bottom line people want to know you can help them.
MYTH You have to figure out your high end program before you offer them. Absolutely not. My first program I had an outline of what I wanted to teach and the benefits for people. I was on fire with what I was teaching others and realized you have to be able to sell an IDEA first. An idea can be put together quickly to attract your ideal paying clients. Stop over thinking it and start offering what you know.
Make sure you have the following:
What it helps people with (people buy RESULTS/benefits)
How you will deliver it (online, offline, webinar, teleclass, membership portal)
Have a sales guide where you can walk someone through to find out what they are looking for
MYTH I have to charge what the market dictates. Nope. This isn’t true. Whatever you feel you’re worth you can charge. It has to be aligned with with who you are. I’ve invested so much in my business that I’ve set my prices according to what I feel I’m worth and the potential results that my clients can create. I’m simply not going to discount my prices because I know and own my value.
