Tune in on Monday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. when Record Talk Radio will feature excerpts of an interview with Joanne Cimiluca, the acting director of Bergen County's Division of Economic Development.
This is her second time in that post. Cimiluca previously held the same job when Democrat Dennis McNerney was County Executive.
This interview was prerecorded on Nov. 18. It was the basis for a story in Sunday's Record.
Record Talk Radio is an ongoing series of conversations with newsmakers and journalists from throughout Northern New Jersey
After Thanksgiving, football season heats up. College football is heading into playoff mode, while teams in the NFL position themselves for a playoff run. As college football winds down, it is time to start talking about the Heisman Trophy. The top running back is Derrick Henry, from Alabama. He has rushed for 1,797 yards and 22 touchdowns while leading Alabama to a 11-1 record. The quarterback class is not full of superstar names. Deshaun Watson, of Clemson, could be the front-runner of the quarterbacks. The Sophomore has thrown for 3,223 yards and 27 touchdowns. He has led Clemson to a perfect 12-0 record. Early expert picks, on ESPN, have Henry taking 9 of the 10 first place votes and running away with the award.
They will not be receiving style points, but the Washington Redskins have quietly jumped into first place. The NFC East is a mess, and the Redskins are taking advantage. After beating the New York Giants 20-14, they own the tie-breaker and have a one game lead over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Did Brock Osweiler end Petyon Mannings career? Osweiler did what no other quarterback could do this year. He beat the New England Patriots. The win gives the Broncos a 9-2 record, and puts them in position to receive a first round bye. They have a comfortable three game lead over the Kansas Chiefs, who have won five games in a row. The Patriots lost the game, and thought they lost Rob Gronkowski for the year. However, tests reveal that he only has a knee bruise with no tears. The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, 39-30 to vault into the second NFC wildcard spot. The Steelers fall into a four way tie, at 6-5, for the AFC wildcard. The Chiefs own the tiebreaker and would be the number one wildcard, and the Houston Texans would slide into the second wildcard, after winning four games in a row.

Tonight our Show will start our reading on our brother George Lester Jackson, son of Lester and Georgia Bea Jackson Elder brother of Jonathan Jackson who was killed in an attempt to free his brother George. He was an African Captive in America who never considered himself an African American. A Prison activist who was the cofounder of the Black Guerrillas.George Lester Jackson (September 23, 1941 – August 21, 1971) was an African-American left-wing activist, Marxist, author, he became a member of the Black Panther Party while incarcerated. Jackson achieved fame as one of the Soledad Brothers and was later shot to death by guards in San Quentin Prison following an unsuccessful escape attempt which left Jackson and four others, including a judge, dead. Jackson was the second son of Lester and Georgia Bea Jackson's five children. He spent time in the California Youth Authority Corrections facility in Paso Robles because of several juvenile convictions including armed robbery, assault, and burglary. His life of petty crime was due to his rebellious attitude against the WHITE RACIST GOVERNMENT OF AMERICA. In 1961 he was convicted of armed robbery, for robbing $70 from a gas station at gunpoint and at age 18 was sentenced to serve one year to life in prison. We will examine the work of George Jackson through his letters written to family and friends over the years all compiled in a books called "THE SOLEDAD BROTHERS"
During his first years at San Quentin State Prison, Jackson became involved in revolutionary activity, as well as assaults on guards and fellow inmates. Such behavior, in turn, was used to justify his continued incarceration on an indeterminate sentence. He was described by prison officials as egocentric and anti-social.
As Jackson's disciplinary infractions grew he spent more time in solitary confinement, where he studied political economy and radical theory. H
Three great social forces are now set in motion for a 2016 showdown and collision that will, in historical terms, be on par with the First and Second World Wars.
Two of these great social forces are currently allied in a de facto coalition against the third. They have forged an unwritten agreement to jointly murder the weakest of the three forces while it is in their combined power to do so. One of these two social forces would be content to share totalitarian control over large swaths of the globe with the other remaining social force. One of these social forces will never be satisfied until it achieves complete domination of the entire planet. So what are these three great social forces?
