Seattle, WA – The environment in which personal growth and healing occurs can be incredibly important to the process itself. An inspiring and sacred place may deepen a person’s learning experience.
Iris Milligan is the Founder of The Sacred Garden Healing Center, ‘a nurturing space to facilitate awakening through the education and practice of healing arts.’ The center offers a beautiful and serene setting for classes, meetings, therapeutic enclaves and retreats for intimate groups.
“It‘s a place for people to come and learn and grow,” says Iris. “It’s a very grounded space that’s deeply connected with nature.”
Iris began her spiritual journey with Reiki classes back in 1999. These classes would introduce her to the world of other healing arts.
“I’d taken some amazing classes and workshops and some of them had been in the most beautiful places, in the woods or on the beach,” recalls Iris. “The environment made the workshop even more powerful. Most workshops happen in hotel conference rooms, and those workshops are wonderful, but I’ve always felt there was something lacking.”
Iris moved back to Seattle, upon which she set out on her most ambitious creative endeavor to date: to create the ideal healing center for the people in her community to gather and learn and grow.
Today, Iris offers the Sacred Garden Healing Center for everything from personal growth and awareness workshops to women’s support groups and even shamanic workshops. The garden, dove sanctuary, flowers, pathways and trees provide the optimal environment for learning and growing.
“The process of creating the center has been an incredible journey for me,” says Iris. “It's helped me to learn and grow in ways I could have never imagined."
This is the LOD radio show based on the Facebook Group Legion Of Diss. This is hosted by John 'FaceCrook' Funches, ranker-drama newsreporter Tamika 'Teejay' Falls, and Boosie with calls from the hustling wanderer Wan LOD Wan, and other members of the LOD group. This week we will be talking to Donita 'ScorpioRed' about the drama she has been having for weeks in the city of Portland, Oregon. So much drama in fact where it seems her every post is about getting the fuck outta PO. Also we are taking live calls for your input and questions on other side fuckery this week such as the finally exposed leaving of Tooper Hill one of the founding members of LOD, and Tamika's re-joining the Facebook group she left; Ask A Nigga, Charley Hustle's new halfway house babies mama revelling he is homeless, with herpes, fighting child support cases, and more! This ought to be a great show of ranking, drama, and fuckery!
