Maggie Baird is an actor, singer/songwriter and a screenwriter living in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. Her film “Life Inside Out” which she co-wrote and in which she stars, has recently been accepted into the Heartland Film Festival (Truly Moving Pictures) in Indiana. Maggie has two CD’s to her credit , “My Father’s Daughter” and “We Sail”.
Mr. Billy Ray is an American screenwriter and director. He began writing for television and movies in 1994 with Color of Night. He has written numerous movies including Volcano and Hart's War. He was one of the creators and writers of the science fiction show Earth 2. Starting in 2003 he began to direct as well as write; his first film was Shattered Glass, the story of a reporter who invented his stories. He was nominated for the Most Promising Filmmaker by the Chicago Film Critics Association and an Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay for his work on this film. Breach (2007), which Ray co-wrote and directed, tells a similar story about Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent convicted of spying for the Soviet Union and later Russia for more than two decades, and Eric O'Neill, who worked as his assistant and helped bring about his downfall. He is perhaps best known for writing the screenplay to the 2012 blockbuster The Hunger Games. Captain Phillips, the upcoming film directed by Paul Greengrass will be in the theaters October 11th 2013. This is the true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years. In 1994 Pearce and Luhrmann adapated William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet for the screen. The film, starring Leonard DiCaprio, broke box office records worldwide. Among its many nominations and awards, the film won the Alfred Bauer Award, the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and four BAFTAs (including Best Screenplay).Craig began working with Baz Luhrmann on the screenplay of Moulin Rouge in 1997. The film, which starred Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, was in competition at – and opened – the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1963, Louis Pappas began his career on stage with the Drexel Hill Players in 1971. Also an accomplished pianist, he studied classical piano at Settlement Music School. In 1979, he moved to South Florida where he attended Broward College furthering his music education and taking creative writing. In 2004, he founded Angry Pig Productions with the idea of using the camera to bring about social change. His first film, "Off Ramps," a documentary dealing with the issue of the criminalization of the homeless population in his town, had a successful run being selected in five festivals out of only seven submissions. Since that time, he has written and directed several short films winning festival accolades and awards all over the world.
In recent years, Louis has also returned to acting, and has booked roles in several films including: "The Shift," starring Danny Glover, and "The Last Hit," where he plays the lead, a hitman who saves a young girl from a ruthless gangster.
