Not So Mad Science #HaroldMuhammad 323.927.2913

    in Science

    Hosted By: Harold Muhammad

Harold, an eclectic and voracious reader, began his venture in the world of the written word as a child of 2 years.  Scraps of paper, candy wrappers, dictionary's right through the entire encyclopedia Britannica. Yet Harold was driven to books of the sciences. Physics, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, he met them all with great wonder and fascination. He delved into each discipline as if his very life depended upon understanding its depth.

It was not until the words of The Hon. Elijah Muhammad that the essence and understanding of the sciences began to have true purpose and meaning. He said, "all there is to know is written in a book, read".

Harold began his collegiate pursuit at Hampton Institute; he then forayed to Fairleigh Dickenson University. At FDU the practice of the Social Sciences, public activism, and public speaking became a trusted part of mental fabric.

Harold is the husband to Celestine Muhammad, and the father of 10 extraordinary children, and 8 grandchildren. Harold has the benefit of having the most exceptional and wondrous teachers to whom he owes all that he has learned, will learn and knows to this very day, The Most  Hon. Elijah Muhammad, the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan, his Father Alfred Eatman, and his Grandfather  the Late Captain, Harold D. Hook.

Demetrius P. Guyton is on Centertainment Radio via NiACOM tonight at 7pm CST!!!

    in Christianity

Demetrius Guyton still carries the physical scars from the day that his biological mother tried to kill him at the Walker Regional Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama.

His mother poisoned him with hydrochloric acid and castor oil in his bottle of milk, (she was trying to collect on a $25,000 insurance policy). The acid burned the left side of his face and shoulder. His nose also collapsed leaving him with no choice but to breathe exclusively through his mouth, because he had no nasal passages.

He underwent two years of surgeries and skin graphs; one year in Walker Regional Medical Center, , and another year in Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Immediately after released from the hospital, he was given to foster care until age 4, when his paternal grandmother was given custody. Shortly thereafter, anger and rebellion took over his life.

Guyton was involved in various assault and battery cases as a juvenile and later entered the Alabama penal system for first degree assault with a life sentence. From the words of Mr. Guyton, “My incarceration became my liberation. God will take you through hell just to get you to Heaven.”

Miraculously, he only served four years and was released. After he made a decision to serve Christ, he found the strength to forgive his mother, make amends with her, and share his story abroad. “God loaned me a story for His glory. My divine obligation is to tell it everywhere I go” said Guyton.

He is now the author of the book, The Chosen One: A Touch From Above, which is his autobiography of his life. After years of allowing his mother’s choice to negatively impact his life, he now accept it as God’s will and is traveling the world encouraging others.

We welcome Demetrius Guyton to share his story! Tune in or call in at 323-693-3830 and press "1" to participate in show!
