Baltimore is burning but my mind is more with the Supremes in DC. I've but a lot of emotion and thought into marriage equality over the past 11 years. Now here we are two months away from a likely quasi-resolution.
I do expect a Loving v. Virginia-style decision in June. It's likely 5-4 ir 6-3 in favor of same-sex marriage, replete with long-fingered majority and dissenting CYA decisions.
I'll kick around the fallout, particularly how the plug nasties who want to harm, hinder and hurt homosexuals will take it. As we still see in the 42 years since women's right to choose was allegedly settled with Roe v. Wade, some will not accept changes or that their emotions are in the minority. Yes, yes, they are likely to keep it so long as they breath.

With everything that is going on around the globe, you can't deny that someone or something is trying to get our attention. The volcano in Chile that errupted twice last week (once on Earth Day), the 7.8 earthquake in Nepal, the riots (uprising?) in Baltimore, MA, and the Supreme Court of the United States taking on what could be the final decision regarding same-sex marriage across the nation. In this edition of PWN, KaliSara and RevKess will talk about these and other issues from around the globe that show that Mother Earth is trying to tell us something, if only we would listen.
On the April 30, 2015 episode of Liberal Dan Radio I will be discussing some of the points made at the Supreme Court hearing on Obergefell V Hodges, what very may well be the final marriage equality case seen by the Supreme Court.
And then I will be discussing the Baltimore Uprising movement, the killing of Freddie Gray, and why there is a lot of hypocrisy by many white people, especially Conservative white folks, on many of the issues that are being raised.
I won't be doing any special bits this week because these issues are far too serious for jokes

This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.raha provision of the state’s income tax law unconstitutional, leaving the state and its counties on the hook for as much as $200 million in refunds and facing significant cuts in revenue. While this sounds ideal to taxpayers, especially after yet another Tax Day has come and gone, what will be the ramifications of such a decision by SCOTUS? Tune in to hear our hosts answer that and other questions on this issue.
