Black Thoughts and Theory: The Radio Show- Black Scholars You Should Know

    in Culture

    Black Scholars You Should Know

Due to the pervasive influence of white supremacy all information pertaining to Melanated persons must be questioned. To be more specific, all history and knowledge that has been acquired from those who embrace this great white deception, must be examined and vetted. Enter the great Black scholars who have done just that.

Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday, November 5 at 9 pm EST as we explore and discuss a few of our great Melanated brothers and sisters who researched, uncovered, and delivered priceless scholarly works that served to enlighten and edify those who were sleeping, in denial, or just didn't want to know.  Works that demonstrate just how important the Black man has been to America and the world.

One such brother is Ivan van Sertima who wrote "They Came before Columbus." Showing that Africans reached the so called New World prior to Columbus.

Dr, Frances Cress Welsing who wrote "The Isis Papers" wherein she details how whites are fighting for their very survival due to their lack of dominant genes.

Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan who wrote 49 books which primarily detailed the significance of the Melanated man in Western cultures.

In addition to all of these brilliant scholars, brother Dennis Jefferson will be stopping by for another episode of Healthy Matters.

In This Information Age - Why Do We Have More Scholars And Less Activist

    in Social Networking

Black Intelligentsia via Israel Doctrine Community Covenant
    Support Our Community:  https://www.paypal.me/israeldoctrine

I will express myself with civility, courtesy, and respect for every member of the Black Intelligentsia online community, especially toward those with whom I disagree, even if I feel disrespected by them. (Romans 12:17-21)

I will express my disagreements with other community members' ideas without insulting, mocking, or slandering them personally. (Matthew 5:22)

I will not exaggerate others' beliefs nor make unfounded prejudicial assumptions based on labels, categories, or stereotypes. I will always extend the benefit of the doubt. (Ephesians 4:29)

I will hold others accountable by clicking "report" on comments that violate these principles, based not on what ideas are expressed but on how they're expressed. (2 Thessalonians 3:13-15)

I understand that comments reported as abusive are reviewed by Black Intelligentsia staff and are subject to removal. Repeat offenders will be blocked from making further comments. (Proverbs 18:7)

When we use the term intellectual, we are talking about people who struggle around ideas— writers, poets, scholars, researchers, teachers, students, and activists.
Intellectuals are people who grapple with ideas and who function in the cultural, political, educational, and economic domains of the society.

Scholars from My Educational Journey Part 2

    in School

I have taught many Afrikans in my professional career and during the months of January and February I will be interviewing some of them so they can enlighten my listening audience about their personal journeys, and how an Afrikan centered education has helped them along this journey.  Their opinions about an assortment of topics will help us as Afrikans relate to their personal journeys.

This week I will have photographer extraordinaire Ricky Codio, another scholar who has built huge pyramids with his artistic skills. He will be giving insight into his profession, his success in this competitive field, and how an Afrikan centered education helped to develop his talent and perspective.

And finally, I will be giving a full report on my visit to NYC to enjoy the 4th Annual Black Comic Book Fair at the Schomburg Center, (and since I'll be in Harlem any other points of interest, I'm excited). I know I will bring back many new Afrikan centered books and learning tools to share. Once again join me as we journey to unravel "The Mind Beneath the School".

Proverbs 13:24-"He that SPARES THE ROD....SPOILS THE CHILD with Anetrise Jones

    in Education

MOST people have heard of the phrase "Spare The Rod...Spoil The Child" which INCIDENTLY is a 'short phrase' that derives from Proverbs 13:24 which states "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes"

THIS is MORE than just DISCIPLINING our children when they are misbehaving.  We are SPOILING the child when we DON"T equip them for life!  When we DON"T make sure they get the QUALITY EDUCATION that they are going to NEED to make it in this world....The Ability to ANALYZE...PROBLEM-SOLVE....CALCULATE things WITHOUT the use of a computer..etc

CEO and FOUNDER of "The Growing Scholars Educational Center" and the Head of Elite Scholars STEAM academy has BEGUN to do the work!

Prayerfully OTHER educational systems will GET THIS...GET where we are coming from!  PREPARE our youth for the REAL WORLD!!!
