Wisdom is passed down from generation to generation, but when a parent is missing from the life of a child, the child must often learn life's lessons the hard way - through trial and error. Many men are experiencing the effects of growing up without a father to teach them how to be men. If your father was not as involved in your upbringing as you would have preferred, what do you wish you had learned from him? Regarding finances? relationships? personal higene? survival skills? Knowing what you know now, what knowledge and wisdom are you willing to share with your son? Are you willing to mentor a boy who is not your son in order to teach him things to help make him a better man? Coach Ernest Radcliff, head of 50 Coaches and Leaders, discusses the hard work of mentoring boys from troubled backgrounds, and what men must be willing to do to turn the tied of violence in the urban communities.
Do you wish you were getting better results in your business, career and/or life, but seem stuck in a performacne rut? Finish this sentence: "If you want something done right, _________________."
If you said "...do it yourself" you may be part of the problem!
Now, don't take that the wrong way; it happens to a lot of leaders. We work hard. We push ourselves (and others) to perform better and better, yet we still come up short at times.
The mark of strong leadership is to seek support and accept guidance, particularly from those who have been down a similar path as our own.
Listen in as JT gives you a powerful leadership coaching strategy that utilizes "The Performance Cycle" to get out of your own way and accomplish your missions in business and life.

Dr. Carl Johan Calleman joins Sister Jenna on the America Meditating Radio Show to shed some light on what the Mayan calendar is all about and how we can understand and use it in our own lives.
Carl Johan Calleman started his career in the hard sciences and has a PhD in Physical Biology from the University of Stockholm. He has written highly quoted papers in the fields of environmental science, toxicology and cancer research and has given lectures at MIT, Cornell, The Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine and the World Health Organization.
In 1994, he devoted himself full-time to understanding the Mayan calendar and has been working on this ever since. He has published four books based on this calendar and has helped the Mayan elders spread their message in the world. Through this, he has become known as the main proponent of the idea that the Mayan calendar is about the evolution of consciousness rather than an astronomical phenomena. His most recent book is entitled, "The Global Mind and the Rise of Civilization." Visit his website at http://calleman.com

We are taught that to change our lives, "it's simple" all we have to do is change our minds. But is changing our minds actually simpe to do? Host Rev. Michelle Rado, used a quote from Master Song Writer/Composer Stephen Songheim's "Anyone Can Whistle" as the basis for this discussion as she takes a "deep dive" into the many elements of our thoughts during the every day circumstance of waking up in a rotten mood, horrified at the prospect of all that you have to squeeze into a single day just to get by, and shares three steps that we can all use to help us through these difficult moments as we learn how to change our minds about any given situation.
Thank you for connecting with HBBA "Think Tank Thursday", our host, Donyale, will dive in with you to explore . . Do You Have the Time? To make this day, this moment, this gift called "Life" count! Join in the discussion and please know that your perspective is always welcome on the Journey! Helping Build Bridges Across from our generation to the next. .
