In this satsa?g, we discuss chapters 16-18 of the Tao Te Ching as translated by Steven Mitchell. Topics include:
You don't need to suffer because of the suffering of others.
You cannot truly serve until you know yourself.
Always be routed in Truth.
Silence is that which is beyond all apparently arising phenomena.
Every moment is being created anew.
Even the witness arises in Silence.
Truth cannot be conceived of.
Those who do not see Truth stumble in darkness.
Realization transforms completely.
Having concepts about perceived truth is not the same as realizing Truth.
Consciousness flows toward freedom.
The presence of a master raises the consciousness of those around him.
Act only when necessary.
Not having expectations means everyone is trustworthy to do what they will do.
Truth cannot be spoken.
Religion doesn't contain Truth.
There are no beliefs in Truth.
Without Truth, people try to be good, but trying does not work.
There is no center to any phenomena.
In this satsa?g, we discuss chapters 9-11 of the Tao Te Ching as translated by Steven Mitchell. Topics include:
Life is without effort.
What we are is prior to trying.
There is no such thing as growth.
Be detached from the results of your action.
It only takes one person to have a happy relationship.
No one needs to change; we are all perfect in the moment.
We really have no control over life.
We are the emptiness in which all experience arises.
It is the emptiness that drives the apparent world.
All apparent persons are expressions of emptiness.
The only reincarnation is that every body is my body, every mind my mind.
The soul, God, reincarnation and karma are just more ego stories.
Spiritual Growth Tools on the Radio has a variety of guests to help you to better understand the blocks that are holding you back, the show aims to entertain, inform and offer a different perspective to the issues that you are faced with. We hope you will join us on the journey!
This week's guest is a dear friend of mine, Maria Henkes. She is a first rate medium, an Angel Therapy Practitioner, and practices and teaches I.E. T.
She gives regular talks and has just recently started holding Satsangs.
We will be discussing how the ego controls our happiness, and how to prevent it from doing so by learning to live in the now, or the flow.
