The Bodacious Movement with Chanta "Shasee" Davis

    in Women

“I am living proof of what a lot of people wouldn’t think of homelessness.” Damien Haussling

If anyone has any preconceived stereotypes of the homeless, make sure they meet Damien. He will dispel any stereotypes you have. He got an 800 on the math section of his SATs in high school. He double majored in both math and psychology in college and was even accepted to a PhD program for statistics.

One of the many reasons Damien’s speeches have been such a success for the Speakers’ Bureau is that his story couldn’t be further from the stereotypes that surround homelessness. He is living proof that homelessness can strike anyone at any given time.

Thus far, Damien has spoken at a public middle school, Catholic middle school, and the Night of Monologues event. He thought that the Night of Monologues was such a success that he hopes to repeat the event multiple times per year. He enjoys telling his story because he is able to meet new people, expel stereotypes, and sometimes receive financial reward for speaking. Damien is the current Speaker's Bureau Coordinator.

Author Lacy Crawford Discusses Early Decision

    in Books

A delightful and salacious novel about the frightful world of high school, SATs, the college essay, and the Common Application—and how getting in is getting in the way of growing up

Anne Arlington is twenty-seven, single, and in demand: she is the independent "college whisperer" whose name is passed from parent to parent like a winning lottery ticket, the only tutor who can make a difference with the Ivy League.

Early Decision follows one application season and the five students Anne guides to their fates: Hunter, the athletic boy who never quite hits his potential, a kind, heavily defended kid who drives his mother mad; Sadie, an heiress who is perfectly controlled but at the expense of her own heart; William, whose intelligence permits him to dodge his father's cruel conservatism but can't solve the problem of loneliness; Alexis, a blazing overachiever whose midwestern parents have never heard of a tiger mom; and Cristina, who could write her ticket out of her enormous, failing high school, if only she knew how.

Meanwhile, Anne needs a little coaching herself, having learned that even the best college does not teach a person how to make a life.

In this engrossing, intelligent novel, Lacy Crawford delivers an explosive insider's guide to the secrets of college admissions at the highest levels. It's also a deft commentary on modern parenting and how the scramble for Harvard is shaping a generation. Told in part through the students' essays, this unique and witty book is so closely observed that it has been mistaken for a memoir or a how-to guide. A wise and deeply felt story, Early Decision reveals how getting in is getting in the way of growing up.

    #MyRealTalkRadio.com Interviews

    Female Hip-Hop Emcee/Actress: RAH DIGGA

Rah Digga was born in New Jersey and went to study electrical engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology after scoring 1300 on the SATs. She learned how to rap by studying the raps of KRS-One, Rakim, and Kool G Rap of the Juice Crew.

She starred in the movie Thirteen Ghosts and sung Mirror Mirror on the soundtrack. She worked with hip-hop group Twice the Flavor before joining the Outsidaz, leading to a feature on the track "Cowboys" from the Fugees album The Score. Being seen by Q-Tip at the Lyricist Lounge lead to her meeting with Busta Rhymes, and joining his Flipmode Squad, later appearing on "numerous Busta Rhymes albums". Her debut solo, Dirty Harriet, was released in 2000 featuring Busta Rhymes and Eve. She also worked with Bahamadia on the track "Be Ok" from Lyricist Lounge, Vol. 1.

Phoebe Jordan chats with PJ Schnyder, an RT BOOKlovers Convention Special

    in Books

Today I have an RT BOOKlovers Convention special show for you because I will be chatting with romance author PJ Schnyder who will be talking about her upcoming novels. And she may even give us a sneak peek into some of her future books as well as any of her other novels that she may have in the works right now and any other projects. She will be telling us about her writing experience and what she has in the works writing wise.

Born and raised in the North East, PJ Schnyder spent her childhood pretending to study for the SATs by reading every fantasy and sci-fi novel she could borrow from the local and school libraries. She scored fairly high in the verbal portion. She was introduced to the wonderful world of romance a decade later by her best friend at an anime convention in Seattle. PJ recently received the Golden Leaf award for Bite Me, Book 1 of the London Undead series, and is one of the contributing authors to the Parsec-award winning Tales from the Archives Vol. 2 of The Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences. In the past, she has also won honors from the Fantasy, Futuristic and Paranormal RWA PRISM awards for her novella, Hunting Kat, Book 1 of the Triton Experiment series. You can find out more about her by either going to her Website, Blog, Facebook Author Page or Twitter.

Get Smart - Max Headroom - Star Trek - LinX - NCIS - Intelligence TV show

    in Politics

    Tonite (3.21.2014) we covered:

We are living in a super fascist corporate state. A proof of this are the myriad TV shows glorifying Big Brother and his fascist terror units - FBI, all Star Trek TV shows and movies (Navy), NCIS (Navy), JAG (Navy), Intelligence (Cyber Command), 24 (DHS). Some TV shows exposed the fascist state such as Get Smart and Max Headroom.

LinX (Law Enforcement Information Exchange) is overseen by the Navy. If you have been issued a traffic ticket, including a parking ticket, you are in this Big Brother data base.

NCIS is the Naval Criminal Investigative Service which oversees LinX. It has its own TV show.

Cyber Command also has its own show - "Intelligence" on CBS on Monday nights. It features a soldier who has had a chip implanted in his brain which enables him to access the Internet.

Big Brother knows exactly where the missing Malaysian airliner is. He has sats that watch every square inch of the planet. It could be a heist, a hijacking to use the plane in a alse flag incident or payback for Malaysia finding "Israel" guilty of War Crimes.

Go to FreeWorldFilmWorks.com - For DVds exposing the CRIMES of Big Brother.
