Mark Spencer is a native of Prince George's County. Mark has practiced law for 26+ years, earning high marks from the county's legal community, neighborhood groups and civic associations for his work as a top litigator in the State's Attorney's office. He currently serves as Inspector General of the Prince George's County Police Department.
In his current role as the Inspector General, he conducts formal, scheduled inspections of all components of the office and ensures agency compliance with rules, policies, and EEO laws. The Inspector General also resolves any complaints of discrimination and harrassment whereever they occur throughout the agency, and ensures that all deputy sheriffs are performing their duties in accordance with the "best practices" of law enforcement.
Also in this conversation is Mr. Bob Ross, President of the Prince George's County NAACP. For more than forty years, Bob has worked as an organizer and advocate in Philadelphia where he was a lobbyist, organization director and he held many positions of increasing responsibilities. He was especially focused leadership development, organization building, contemporary labor and political issues, civil rights and community organizing. A great conversation to listen to.
Waller County Sheriff officials said they believe Bland died in her cell the morning of July 13, from asphyxiation with a trash bag, three days after she was pulled over for not using her turn signal and then arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer.
The Harris County medical examiner ruled her death a suicide. But Waller County District Attorney Elton Mathis said the 28-year-old’s death would be treated “just as it would be a murder investigation.”
“There are many questions that are being raised here in Waller County,” Mathis said. “It needs to be a thorough and exhaustive review.”
Most of those questions and conspiracy theories were dispelled on July 28, when prosecutors released video of Bland walking through the jail and posing for her mugshot during the booking process:
Before the video was released, the strongest evidence was Bland’s voicemail to a Texas friend, LeVaughn Mosley, from her cell. In the voicemail posted by WLS-TV, Bland said, “how did switching lanes with no signal turn into all of this?”

Michal Collins Pipers Blockbuster book on the Kennedy Assassination. "Final Judgement"
Final Judgment presents what the author, Michael Collins Piper, calls“the other side of the jigsaw puzzle” —
the long - ignored, but otherwise freely available details (all found in “mainstream” literature), which present a stark new light on the circumstances surrounding JFK’s assassination. This book demonstrates the strong likelihood Israel’s intelligence service, the collaborated alongside the CIA and the Meyer Lansky Crime Syndicate in the JFK assassination because President Kennedy was working to prevent Israel from acquiring nuclear weapons of mass destruction, a fact that remained a dark secret for decades. However, because it was not until the mid -1980’s that the truth about President Kennedy’s behind - the - scenes war with Israel emerged, many otherwise diligent JFK assassination researchers never co nsidered the possibility Israel did have good reason to align with other powerful forces that wanted to remove JFK from the White House. Once you’ve read Final Judgment you will see the evidence of likely Israeli involvement is there

On July 13, a young 28-year old woman was found hanging from a noose made from a plastic bag (allegedly) in her cell at the Waller County Jail in Texas, where she was incarcerated after allegedly assaulting an officer during a July 10 traffic stop. Her death is being investigated as a murder, though authorities have said that she appeared to have hanged herself.
Who was this young woman, who was like so many young adults who have spoken openly of racial and police injustices? … Her name is Sandra Bland.
Here we find ourselves again, addressing the loss of a life of another young black person under suspicious circumstances while in the custody of law enforcement, and Hot Topics Talk Radio will be addressing the inconsistencies in the accounts of the death of Sandra Bland.
