God wants to speak to you about who you really are

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX continues speaking about how God is opening doors. There are aslo some doors in our lives that needs to be closed. Proverbs 18:16 says, "A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men." The gift that God has placed upon the inside of you has been given by God. God wants you to use that gift. It doesn't matter what the gift is, but it matters that you use that gift.

Galatians 6:6-10 says, "Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith."

One of the ways that we do not lose heart is to pray.  Luke 18:1 says, "Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart ..." You need to pray and call in faith to God and persist in that prayer. Add your faith to your sowing and expect to reap!

Pastor Brad continues teaching from 1 Samuel 9. God wants to speak to you about who you really are and today is a dawning of a new day. Further, Pastor Brad speaks from Psalm 113:5-9, "Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? He raises the poor from the dust  and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes, with the princes of his people."

The ANDREA SHEA KING SHOW - Community Security, Samuel Culper III

    in Politics Conservative

Tonight we're going to piggyback on a webinar being offered and hosted by Samuel Culper III of Guerillamerica.  Culper is former intelligence, a combat veteran, a prepper and proud resident of the American Redoubt.

He'll talk about Intelligence Preparation of the Community or "IPC."  There are a LOT of folks talking about preparedness, but their content on security extends the length of a rifle barrel.  You can have years’ worth of stored food and supplies, but if you can’t protect it, you may not have it for long.

Intelligence analyst Culper will tell us how to use an Army planning process to analyze our community security, because when the SHTF (if such an event occurs overnight), most in the Patriot and Prepper communities aren’t going to know exactly what to expect.

Sure, you might see gangs, mobs, rioters, looters, unorganized criminality, the Golden Horde, and maybe Big Brother.  But these are just examples of threats.  And this is usually the extent of intelligence done by Patriots and Preppers.

How many of these threats are there? How forceful are they?

    Where will they come from?

What weapons and equipment will they have?

    What are their capabilities?

    What are their goals?

    What’s their strategy?

How can we develop early warning for these events?

Tonight, we find out.  Tune in for this special two-hour edition of The ANDREA SHEA KING Show.

Scottscope Talk Radio 2/21/2015: Are You Ready for The Kingsman?

    in Entertainment

On this week’s edition of Scottscope Talk Radio, we’ll be reviewing Kingsman: The Secret Service!  Is it faithful to the comic book on which it’s based?  Could it possibly be better?  Is it an effective homage/parody of classic British spy films?  Is director Matthew Vaughn the most thematically consistent director currently adapting comic books for the big screen?  Is he an unsung hero of the form?  Does the film provide a viable alternative to the considerably darker world of Daniel Craig’s James Bond?  Does it set a high bar for the rest of this year’s upcoming action/adventure films?  Does it merit comparison with other such hybrid comedies like Men In Black?  What might further adventures of the Kingsman have in store?

And let us not grow weary while doing good - continue to move

    in Religion

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX continues speaking about how God is opening doors. God wants you to abound in whatever you do. Find what the Lord has you to do and abound in the work of the lord. Your work is not in vain. Galatians 6:8-10 says, "For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." There is coming a season of reaping to your life.

Concerning the doors that are opening to you, it says in 1 Corinthians 16:9, "For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." The door is great and effective. This great and effective door is a door of activity. As he opens up this door of activity there are going to be adversaries.  Don't worry about those people, just continue to move.

To walk through the open doors there are other doors that need to be shut. God doesn't pour new wine through old wineskins. What is going to cause the doors to open is the love of God working in our hearts - receiving the love of God and then giving it out. In Revelation 3:8 it says, "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it;for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name." God continues in Revelation 3:10 saying, "Because you have kept My command to persevere ...", meaning that you need to move forward, do not shrink back.

Pastor Brads further teaches from 1 Samuel 10 about the annointing God has for you life. Do not grow weary of doing good.

    in Lifestyle

The Don S. McClure Show Live-Black History Leading Black Auto maker 1915

Mr. Charles Richard Patterson, founder of what was to become the world's first Black family owned automobile manufacturing company. The head of this remarkable family was Charles (Rich) Patterson. He was born a slave on a West Virginia plantation and learned blacksmithing skills that would prove useful through-out his life.

The C.R. Patterson & Son Carriage Company of Greenfield, Ohio became the nation's, and the world's, first and only African-American founded and owned automobile manufacturing company. The company began as a manufacturer of horse drawn carriages and ended up as a manufacturer of buses for both urban transportation systems and rural school needs.

In 1873 C.R. Patterson went into partnership with a white businessman, named  J.P. Lowe. ten years later into the very successful business venture J. P. Lowe died leaving the business and sole ownership to C.R Patterson. There are some who say C.R. purchased the entire company from J.P before he died.

The C.R. Patterson Co. turned out 28 different types of horse-drawn vehicles.

The product line included buggies, backboards, phaetons, rockaways and surreys — the era's most popular wagons.

Patterson and his wife, the former Josephine Qutz, were the parents of four children: Katherine, Dollie, Frederick Douglass, and Samuel. It was Fred who helped guide the company into the Automobile Age in the early 20th century.
