The is the great example of life in which you realize at that very moment that you can't depend on no one except God. This is some words to describe Davids emotional state; anguish, suffering, pain, agony, torment, headache, heartbreak & misery. Life some time can be a bumpy ride that takes you straight to the arms of your God. Jesus Christ. Matthew 11: 28

Join Bro. J.O. Sparks at 11:00 PM(EST) as he preaches a message titled, "Obeying God's exact instruction." Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. ~ I Samuel 15:22 So often we say we can add this, or add that, or do this or do that and after we brainstorm, we add things to the will of God for our lives and find ourselves drifting away from the exact things we have heard God speak. It is time we hear and obey the voice of God because obedience is better then sacrifice.
Join RevKess and Kalisara as we bring back Samuel Wagar, the HP of Ravenwood Temple, to talk about the joys and conflicts around creating a formal community church for Wiccans.
From an article on VuWeekly: "Edmonton’s local community, in particular, is at a major transitive point in its growth, taking steps towards a more formal organizational structure than is commonly found or historically precedented in Wicca."
Samuel Wagar is a Third Degree Wiccan HP (1985), founder of the Congregationalist Witchcraft Association of Canada (1991) and its British Columbia provincial daughter (2004). He's currently HP of Ravenwood Temple of the Alberta branch of his church (2007 - there is also as Saskatchewan branch, founded in 2014) and the Wiccan Chaplain at the University of Alberta. He is enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at St. Stephen's College in Edmonton, studying the evolution of a fraction of the Wiccan community toward more formal 'church-like' service to the larger community, a process he's been involved with now for more than a quarter century. Author of four books on theology, ritual, church organization, and a memoir.

Now it came about after the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, that David remained two days in Ziklag. On the third day, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul, with his clothes torn and dust on his head. And it came about when he came to David that he fell to the ground and prostrated himself.
Then David said to him, “From where do you come?” And he said to him, “I have escaped from the camp of Israel.” David said to him, “How did things go? Please tell me.” And he said, “The people have fled from the battle, and also many of the people have fallen and are dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.” So David said to the young man who told him, “How do you know that Saul and his son Jonathan are dead?” The young man who told him said, “By chance I happened to be on Mount Gilboa, and behold, Saul was leaning on his spear.
And behold, the chariots and the horsemen pursued him closely. When he looked behind him, he saw me and called to me. And I said, ‘Here I am.’ He said to me, ‘Who are you?’ And I answered him, ‘I am an Amalekite.’ Then he said to me, ‘Please stand beside me and kill me, for agony has seized me because my life still lingers in me.’ So I stood beside him and killed him, because I knew that he could not live after he had fallen. And I took the crown which was on his head and the bracelet which was on his arm, and I have brought them here to my lord.” Then David took hold of his clothes and tore them, and so also did all the men who were with him. They mourned and wept and fasted until evening for Saul and his son Jonathan and for the people of the Lord and the house of Israel, because they had fallen by the sword. David said to the young man who...
