On a crusade of motivation for over ten years, J. Love Benton's first book, Same Gender Loving and Loving IT! is meant for and about black lesbians, yet her overall message of "You Matter" speaks to everyone. J. Love Benton heads three workships, "Love Matters", "Fear No More", and "Bully No More". Her first book Same Gender Loving and Loving IT! is a compliation of facts, stories, hopes, and celebrations of the black lesbian experience including coming out, religion, families, raising children, and most importantly, the relationships black lesbians have with each other.
"Learn why being a Black lesbian embraces the true meaning of courage, strength, and resilience. Become empowered. Be assured that as a Black lesbian you are “It”!"

Dr. D. Marcell is a scholar and ordained minister. As founder and editor-in-chief of N-convenient Truth, an e-publication for SGL men of color, he believes that his divine call is to authenticate, validate, and empower the SGL.
Saved, Sanctified, and Same-Gender Loving is the first in a series of books in which Dr. D. Marcell will deal with issues pertinent to the African-American SGL community.
Saved, Sanctified, and Same-Gender Loving is a proclamation of reclamation for all African-American SGL men who have lived conflicted lives, tormented by indoctrinated fears of eternal damnation, terrified of being rejected by God and family, and driven to schizophrenic nihilism (feelings of lovelessness, hopelessness, and despair). In this book, D. Marcell presents personal stories that illustrate his struggle to reconcile his spiritual and sexual identities; he also challenges other African-American SGL men (whether openly gay, closeted, down-low, or transgendered) to confront their own identity.
Some belive that Same Gender Loving Couples should not be allowed to raise children. We will be dealing with family values The Myths and Facts On Black Lesbians and child rearing.

Join us today 5:30 CST as we explore the topic of gender intelligence, understanding and respecting differences. I am sure many of us have heard the term be a man or man up but when we say that what are we really saying and how is that message received.....
We will consider questions surrounding gender intelligence, gender expectation and challenges that are created as a result of gender confusion.......
Questions to consider:
Be a man what is that and how do men react when this idea of manhood is challenge?
Could gender intelligence help reduce violence?
Could gender intelligence be the answer to police brutality and hyper-masculinity?
Have you considered that one of the most dangerous things you can say to a boy is be a man?
Did we see gender dynamics being displayed during the police stop of Sandra Bland?

Our guest Co-Host, Francis M. Acevedo Franco, and I will discuss the perceptions of a blessing versus a tragedy, and the possibility that they are energetically two halves of the same expansion experience whole. Author Paul Parkinson of his new book: Unselfish – Love Thy Neighbor As Thy Selfie.
Pauls the journey that cultivated this collection of 99 stories and full color photos of selfless people celebrates acts of kindness and extraordinary sacrifices of regular people and celebrities.
From high school football players helping a special needs girl fit in, to a police officer feeding a hitchhiker and her dog, to a Hollywood producer leaving behind a 7-figure job to help children in Cambodia, the true stories in this book will restore your faith in humanity. And maybe, just maybe, will inspire thousands of people to turn their cameras the other way and look for someone they can help.
It is no coincidence that Unselfish releases the same day as Kim Kardashian’s book, Selfish. Paul Parkinson, the author of Unselfish, believes this project is an important antithesis. “We plan to release Unselfish the same day,” says Parkinson, whose last project was Nowhere Safe, a film about cyberbullying. “We feel there needs to be a counterbalance. This is not a campaign against any individual or group of individuals. It is a campaign to address the growing culture of selfishness.”

Gospel of Matthew 5: 1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2 and he began to teach them.3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
The world was shocked as the passing of Roddy Piper happened Thursday night, and we chat it up. Riding in with a nice Saturday night in action sports, as we saw a great PBC show on ESPN, along with a pretty good UFC show the same night. MLB Trade Deadline has come and gone as well. NFL week 13 picks are in, and we also have our second Madden 16 trivia contest for our giveaway.
