We've all heard the phrase "be here now" and "the present is a gift," but what does this really mean and how can we live in the present when we're bombarded with technology, media, work, family and responsibility? Join Deb and Samantha as they share some tips to help you live and enjoy being in the present.
Not everything you see on TV is real. In fact most of what you see is fake. If it is not 100% artificial it is heavily slanted and biased toward an agenda or corporate entity. The mainstream news has even been caught so many times creating story lines and exaggerating truths that most of it can be labeled "infotainment". Is mainstream media distracting from a bigger more deeper issue? What is happening that we don't see on the news? #FEAR: ISIS, RIOTS, AND OTHER MEDIA DECEPTIONS.
Sweetwater also comes through to talk about the their music, the fans, and explain what is "Perfect Hot Sex"

Alfredetta Ward is a strong, ambitious young entrepreneur who is innovative and motivated to see her performers shine. In 1997, while employed at Tyrone’s on Broadway supper club in Oakland CA she formed a vision. While listening to many aspiring singers, an appreciation of their talent inspired her to create a different type of venue. She created Miss Pumpkin Productions.
From 1998 - 2001 produced Old School 70's music tribute shows with groups such as the Old School Ballards, and The Legendary California Malibu's. She was able to land a well-known local venue (Sweet Jimmy's) for her first production and later move on to larger venues as her reputation grew. Her events became the number one place to be, especially on holidays and days such as Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day.
In 2005, she created Miss Pumpkin's Karaoke Showdown / Throw down Battle of the Sexes vocal competition. The show was picked up by local cable network leading to a better version called, Show down / Throw down Battle of the Sexes Part 2. It had a two-year run which lead to the show winning an award for outstanding production.
Miss Pumpkin has become well-known, spotlighted KJDJ, meaning she is not your average disc jockey. She added fabulous theme parties and numerous contests to her shows. Currently, Miss Pumpkin has established a new hit tribute show entitled Miss Pumpkin's Tribute to Legendary Stars, and Tracy Got Talent 2014. Her fabulous tribute show has graced popular venues such as The Gallo Theater, Modesto CA., The Bob Hope Theater, Stockton CA, The Flamingo Resort, Santa Rosa, CA, and the Stockton Fairgrounds to name a few.
From a waitress to event planner, show promoter, club owner, and KJDJ, she is headed for more success in the world of entertainment. Miss Pumpkin and her Production Supervisor, Samantha Richardson will be our special guest for this show.

“Being part of this process makes my heart and soul sing” ~ Samantha Hall
Samantha Hall is an empathic, clairaudient, psychic who connects with her client's guides and angels in order to find guidance and answers that will help them move forward. This work is her passion! She has known of her gifts since age 10, but it took her until her 20's to realize exactly what was going on, and find the guidance to help her hone those skills. Now, Samantha feels every day is a joy because she gets to explore the interconnectedness of all beings, and with each reading, each forward step her clients take, she knows they are contributing to the higher vibration of this planet.
Samantha is a Reiki Master so she takes a healing approach to her readings. “I simply connect with the client and their guides and ask the guides to tell me what this person needs to know to move forward in their life path. I get esoteric information, generic information, wonderful WOW! How could you know that? information, all in the same reading.” Samantha is here to help without judgment. She will be the first to tell you that she does not have all the answers or always understand how the universe works. But she does know; 1. Spirit never gives her wrong information. We just might not understand or know what to do with it at the moment. 2. She LOVES her work! Samantha feels there is only US as human beings and she is here to help, grow, learn, and heal just like her clients.
This week on Sott Talk Radio we'll be talking to Jon Ryman. Over the course of his 46 years on planet earth, Jon has lived in or visited most countries and currently he resides in Portugal where he is experimenting with living without having to interface with the matrix. Jon is an accomplished musician, with 6 LPs, countless singles and a catalogue of 400 songs to his name, most of which are being exploited by major record labels. But it's not for his travel stories or musical talent that we are talking to Jon, but rather to discuss his excellent short documentary called 'White Widow' - The Samantha Lewthwaite Conspiracy.
The so-called "white widow" grabbed the headlines over a protracted period last year for her alleged leadership of the attack on Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya. Samantha Lewthwaite first rose to 'fame' as the alleged 'wife' of alleged London '7/7' tube bomber, Germaine Lindsay, and since then has been a veritable rising star in the phony world of Islamic terrorism, particularly in Africa.
As with so many other supposed 'Muslim terror leaders', the story of Lewthwaite appears to be one large fantasy that reveals disturbing insights into how British, Israeli and US intelligence agencies run the bogus 'war on terror' from behind the scenes.
Join the SOTT Team and Jon Ryman this Sunday, August 31st 2014 from 2-4pm EST (11am-1pm PST / 8-10pm CET/ 7-9pm GMT)
