Another Vettel Win at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi Sunday November 3, 2013
Red Bull champion Sebastian Vettel cruised into a 7th consecutive win around the beautiful Yas Marina race circuit. The Formula 1 race was at night under the lights, in front of a sold out crowd. Crossing the finish line second, was the much-deserved Australian, Mark Webber, Vettel's red bull teammate.
Third place became uncertain during the last few laps. For several laps throughout the race frenchman Romain Grojean with Lotus, was the sure bet to make third place. Changing track conditions and changing fortunes on the track, netted a third place finish for Nico Rosberg, with Mercedes, instead of Grosjean.
Prior to today's race, Grosjean had three consecutive podiums, and has done a great job for the Lotus team.
Rosberg’s win will keep the Mercedes team in the running for second place in the constructors.
America’s favorite F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, also with Mercedes, had car issues on Saturday during qualifying, and again on race day. He's looking forward to the race in the United States at Circuit of the Americas, where he took the win in 2012.
The next race is the USGP in big bad Austin Nov 15-17.
Joining us for this podcast is special guest, Felicia Day (Supernatural's Charlie Bradbury)!
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) discover that the table in the Men of Letters house (the one that lit up like a Christmas Tree when the angels fell), has an ancient computer attached to it. They figure if they can get the computer on, they can track the angels. Who better to call for help than the best IT girl there is, Charlie (guest star Felicia Day)? While moving the massive computer, they dislodge a hidden hexbag that unleashes a magical green-webbed wall. Sam and Dean break through it and discover the one and only Dorothy (guest star Tiio Horn) from Oz. She had trapped herself and the wicked witch (guest star Maya Massar) in the web years ago to stop the witch from finding the key that would open the gate that connected their world with Oz. With the wall broken, a massive and magical fight ensues that threatens to destroy the Men of Letters house. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Robbie Thompson (#904).
