It’s been a wild week of sports . . . and, we’ve had a lot of fun chatting it with some terrific, knowledgeable, and humorous guests. On our “relaxed” Frat House Saturday you get a chance to hear just a few.
32 teams in the NFL, and ONCE AGAIN the only team every sports-talk radio station in the U.S. was talking about was the Philadelphia Eagles. We were joined by our “go-to” Eagles talker Jeff Warner of FOX Sports 1470-AM Lehigh Valley giving us his viewpoint on the Eagles trading Nick Foles for Sam Bradford!
Believe it or not, we actually get into a bit of “world futbol” chat and what Frat House Mike calls the “American disconnect” with international soccer. Our good buddy Eric Purdy brings us his experiences from some recent FA Cup matches and his favorite club, the Bradford City Bantams.
Last Sunday’s Race Trim MotorSports Hour was highlighted by a very entertaining chat with Benny Fry of the Racin’ Nation Radio Network talking about issues in NASCAR.
Finally, we’re hoping to catch-up with ANOTHER of our newest talkers, Nick Mandarano coming to us from Phillies spring-training, and who will be joining us as a co-host on our upcoming all-MLB Clean-up Hitters program that will debut right here on March 17th!
THIS is a Frat House Saturday program you must hear . . . and, give Frat House Mike a call at 347 – 826 – 9964 . . . because, he’s all by himself, and needs someone to talk to!
NFL Talking Heads - 4/8/15 Speculation Time! Will next round of QB contracts be overpaid? Cowboys an
We cover some of the recent NFL speculations and make our own for the upcoming 2015 season. Will the Cowboys and Eagles make the playoffs? Is R. Tannehill, Newton, Eli Manning,Sam Bradford, R. Wilson, Luck, all going to be overpaid in there next contract?
In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec take a deep breath, and look at their notes. Officially, the frenzy has begun. When the clock said 4:00 PM EST, the free agency period, officially began, in the NFL. There are still many rumors flying around, but within the first hour, the "Breaking News" ticker on ESPN was going crazy. If you have a rewind, on your remote, you probably used it more than once. Two big trades are topping the early headlines. Former New Orleans tight end Jimmy Graham has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks. The deal will send Seahawks center Max Unger and a first round draft pick, to the Saints, for Graham and a fourth round pick. Who do you think won in this deal?
The Philadelphia Eagles traded Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams, for Sam Bradford. The trade also included the swapping of draft picks, in this years NFL Draft. Do you think the Eagles are trying to find a way to get Marcus Mariota? As stated above, who do you think won, in this deal? The Detroit Lions are losing Ndamokung Suh, but they traded for Haloti Ngata. The Detroit Lions saved millions of dollars, not signing Suh, and have filled a void, by acquiring Ngata. Frank Gore and Trent Cole seem to have landed in Indianapolis, and by the time we go live on the air, this may all be old news. Listen in and get your updated Day 1 NFL Free Agency thoughts and analysis.
