Where Was God? [Setting The Tone Radio LIVE]

    in Current Events

It was a dismal Wednesdayat the Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, South Carolina, where Rev. Clementa C. Pinckney, pastor, and eight other members lost their lives to senselss violence. Our conversation will focus on several aspects of this hideous hate crime. We want you to tell us your candid opinions. Honestly:

When do blacks stop turning the other cheek?
What’s with the confederate flag in 2015?
What logical biblical explanation can come from this?

As we’ve asked before, what sort of country do we live in???

Join The Cool Chick, Big Izzy and guest host Storm for another live podcast to discuss racism in America, Christianity and homeland terrorism.

    Why #SandySpeaks

    in News

    About This Episode

Sandra Bland is a victim of police brutality, whether the media wants to admit it or not. They provided a mugshot of her and people wonder if the photo was after she was killed. Wait, they are saying it was a suicide! Many people, including some African Americans, believe it was in fact a suicide due to her depression. We know better, America. We are here to once again set the record straight and set the tone.

Join Storm, Dictator and Big Izzy as we lay out the facts and tell it like it is.

Roxy Roca ... Austin TX Soul & Funk Band

    in Music

Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes the amazing Austin TX Soul & Funk Band Roxy Roca to the show!

    www.roxyroca.com

"Fans of ’60s legends like James Brown and Al Green will have plenty to savor on Roxy Roca’s latest, Ain’t Nothin’ Fancy — a record full of powerhouse soul with a smooth, Southern finish. The lyrics are simple, but it’s the horn section and vocalist Taye Cannon’s impressive vocal chops that steal the show here, with hoarse shrieks, whoops, and hollers to beat the band.
Roxy Roca’s tunes are dynamic, infectious, and, above all, fun, sure to inspire even the most reluctant to step out on the dance floor." ~ Texas Music Magazine
