    in Education

Welcome to Common Sense for the 21st Century, or Common Sense 21 for short. A show driven by facts, not politics or conspiracies. Just provable facts and common sense. We will look at cuurent news articles, blogs, etc and talk about the facts behind the story.

Featuring Timothy Howard, founder of the USA Emergency Broadcasting Network, and Matt Fitzgibbons, founder of PatriotMusic.com, Common Sense for the 21st Century is a fact-based show that focuses on today's concerns for the disaster preparedness-minded. Tim Howard has over 30 years experience in disaster preparedness with many certifications, both government and non-government. Matt Fitzgibbons is a philosopher, historian, and musician and he's passionate about Natural Rights and the Founding Principles that made the United States the longest standing, freest nation on the planet.

Together, we'll cover all sides of the issues with reason and facts so our listeners can make the best decision for themselves, and we'll even delve into some of the stranger ideas.

Conspiracy theories are often interesting and even enticing because they carry elements of facts that are reassembled for sensationalism. CS21 goal is to identify the facts and separate the truth from the outright lies.

Taking The Fight To A Common Enemy: Depression

    in Christianity

Its that time of year where we get caught up in all the gatherings, Christmas parties, meeting with family and friends and yes plenty of shopping. We find ourselves moving at a fast pace, with the great temptation to keep up with the Jones. And some how all of these things that were suppose to bring great joy, end up delivering great misery, sadness and depression. US World News reports researched and found that the suicide rate is the highest its been in 25 yrs. And really we just still have a difficult time finding ways to cope with this common enemy. Were afraid to speak to our friends, minister and find ourselve in a pit of despair. For those who have battled depression, they understand how dibilitating it is. The shame and stigma of not having it all together. Lossed loved ones, unexpected divorce, traumatic childhood. How can we fight this enemy and defeat it? Whats a proper response to it? And how can we encourage others rather than casting blame?

    Let's talk common Sense

    in Current Events

This world has too much turmoil in it and it needs more good common sense. People just are losing the quality of being a decent human being. Some people have it, some people just need to learn and some will never learn. I myself, have been through many negative experiences. But, I have learned from them and feel I have the good comon sense to stop ost of the worlds issues. Problem is is, there is too many non believers out there that they are on a wrong path. I hope t set them straight. But, like I have stated from the beginning of this, I am not always right, but I have good common sense. Let's see if we can figure out what's wrong with this world, or should I say, the negative people people in it. Can we stop all this madness or is this world coming to an end. Let's see if we can help these people see where they can change a little and show more appreciation and love for each other along with RESPECT! Join me. G~

The Corruption of education through “common core”

    in Politics Conservative

Common Core should be renamed the “Lowest Common Denominator.” He suggests that American schools have been scientifically designed to prevent over-education, thus “ensuring workers who will never be tempted to better their stations in life.”

Common Core was not developed by the states but rather by the "COMMON CORE REGIME" along with Obama's stimulus $$ and pushed by the duped Republican governors and business groups.

The push by a DC-based nonprofit called Achieve, Inc., which is the Education division of   Rupert Murdoch‘s News Corp., under the auspices of the National Governors Association (NGA) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) in 2007. Neither NGA nor CCSSO (which are merely trade associations with private  membership lists) had a grant of legislative authority from the states to   develop national standards. In fact, Common Core was written by the same   progressive education reformers who have been trying to impose a national curriculum for decades. This time, they were savvy enough to invoke the “cover”of NGA so they could paint Common Core as a “state-led” effort. To the extent states had any input, it was limited to offering suggestions that may or may not have been accepted by the people in control.

    Truth:

GATES FOUNDATION underwrote( paid for)  & promoted the COMMON CORE curriculum scheme along with Jeb Bush's 2 foundations.

RUPERT MURDOCH's News Corp built the database infrastructure In BLOOM evolving out of the above partnership this was created to operate the database.

The U.S. Department of Education (USED) did not create the Standards, but it was deeply involved in the effort to gather together the various trade associations and private foundations to do the work that USED wanted done.
