As a long-time practitioner, I understand the myriad benefits of incorporating yoga into our lives, but it's so much more than movement and exercise. In fact, the poses of yoga (asnas) were the last component added to yogic philosophy. And equally important element of yoga is the community of people it creates. One Sacramento yoga studio, The Yoga Seed Collective, is a non-profit organization interested in healing and enriching its community through yoga. From prisons to helping care-givers they are making a difference in the Sacramento Community. We'll also talk to James Kapicka who's introducing a unique Northern Californa resource and concept. So while the show will discuss local yoga happenings, the content is global, so I hope you'll tune in.
