"Fantasy Freeway" ~ In a pass happy NFL, which quarterbacks are best value

    in Sports

The NFL is in a pass oriented stage, which means that quarterbacks can give you big points.  As a whole, the average passing yards per game, in the NFL was 251.76. In the past, when a quarterback put 300 yards on the stat sheet, it usually meant that his team was playing from behind.  Now, a 300 yard passing day consitutes an elite passing attack.

According to ESPN, the top five quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees.  The 2015 prediction, is a mirror image of how these players ended the 2014 NFL campaign.  The only change is that they moved Drew Brees ahead of Ben Roethlisberger.  Any of these quarterbacks would be a good selection, in your draft.  If they are not available when you pick, is there a solid second tier of quarterbacks?

Each of the quarterbacks mentioned above, had over 300 fantasy points.  The second tier would include those who accumulated 250-299 fantasy points.  This group included 10 quarterbacks. Which of these quarterbacks can move into that 300 plus range, in 2015?  Will Matt Ryan find a groove with Julio Jones? Can Ryan Tannehill keep progressing? Is Tom Brady worth drafting, depending on his suspension? Will Eli Manning prove to the world that his comments about being the highest paid QB are warrented? Does the loss of Demarco Murray effect Tony Romo's numbers? Can a healthy running game allow Philip Rivers to put up monster numbers? After addressing the wide receiver position, will Baltimore's Joe Flacco have better stats? Can Matthew Stafford cut down on his interceptions?

We answer all these questions and more on tonights episode.  Listen in and call the show with your thoughts.

AFC EAST ~ NFL preview; will anyone dethrone the Patriots?

    in Sports

The New England Patriots have been the AFC East Champions for six straight years, and have won 12 of the last 14 dating back to 2001.  In retrospect, the Buffalo Bills have not won the AFC East since 1995.

The optimisim is high, in Buffalo.  Rex Ryan was dismissed as the New York Jets head coach, and then subsequenltly hired as the Bills head coach.  The Bills did everything on paper to try and compete against the Patriots.  However, it is to be determined if a trade for Matt Cassel is the answer at quarterback.  They picked up dynamic running LeSean McCoy, in a trade with the Philadephia Eagles. They also added Percy Harvin at wide receiver.

The New England Patriots are coming off of another Super Bowl victory.  However, controversy has surrounded the playoffs, with "Deflate Gate."  Tom Brady was suspended four games, by Roger Goodell.  Brady has brought this case to the court system.  In either case, to be the best you have to beat the best.

The Miami Dolphins may have signed the biggest free agent, when they signed Ndamukong Suh to a 6 year $114 million contract.  With a progressing Ryan Tannehill, can the Dolphins find a way to overtake the Patriots? They found a formiddle running game, in 2014, that ranked 12th overall, and a passing game that ranked 17th.

After a preseason fight, the New York Jets will be without Geno Smith.  Was he really the answer?  The Jets are coming off a horrid 4-12 season, where they scored a league low 27 touchdowns (tied with Jacksonville). Usually, the Jets have a sound defense; however, they finished 24th in scoring defense.

Tom Brady & Geno Smith Are OUT... Still No Love For Tannehill From The Media??

    in Football

OK...  Let me get this straight... Garapolo in his second year has yet to start a game in the NFL...& Matt Cassell hasn't had a good year since 2008, are thought to have a BETTER YEAR than 4th year veteran and steadily improving, new long ball throwing...New weapons to throw to Ryan Tannehill???  The arguments are that the media has shown little love for the Dolphins as an entire team because of mediocrity for the past several years.  What about the Jests and Bills??  Am I blind to something here?  Why do I let this get to me??  Maybe I should be glad that Tanny is "flyin under the radar" here and enjoy the A** WHIPPIN he will deliver in 2015!  Or ...could they be right?

Brady in court...  Geno out6-10 weeks for proving he can't lead by example...  and LOTSA camp stuff to talk about....and...  There's a GAME THURSDAY NIGHT IN CHICAGO TOO!!!!  How many snaps doya think the key players should play?  Should Freeman  play much,and... just let Moore take most of the snaps?  Who's gonna stand out and be the star in pre=season?  Time for YOU to answer these questions and sound off Thursday at 6:30 EST by calling (516) 453-9433.  Unsquish The Fish host Ron Canniff will be a guest and opinion speaker as he has been to practice and seen some things you may not be aware of!

"ReAddressing The Urgent Clarification of Women."

A discussion about gender, classifications for being a woman, and the aspects that the define the originals.

    - from one woman's perspective.

This will be a debative topic, I am sure, as it will confront the lines that are drawn out there these days, and where we, women fall within them. I'll raise the question...

Where do we each ourselves see our selves as 'true' women these days... admist the misty, mysterious and musty camoflagues (and sometimes cartoonish displays) of womenhood?

Between Caitland and fakeland it is up for debate and...

I'm getting LIVE After Dark! Join me as I disguss the pros and cons of todays' womanhood. Where the lines are blurred and in some cases... completely obliviated.
