This Friday's Critical Conversations begins with Texans Dr. Jim Picht and attorney James Edwards discussing the indictment of Governor Rick Perry.
Perry has been indicted for "coercion" and abuse of power because he refused to fund the office of DA Rosemary Lehmberg after losing confidence following her belligerent behavior during a DUI arrest.
A grand jury indicted Texas governor Rick Perry this week on abuse of power charges, and he was arraigned on Wednesday complete with mug shot and fingerprints.
Perry has been supported by some surprising liberal leaders, including Alan Dershowitz, but has also been slammed by others.
Staying stateside, the conversation will move to Ferguson, Missouri and the clashes between police and residents following the killing of 18 year-old Michael Brown.
Our guest tonight will be Kerry Trahan a 1988 graduate of West Point Military Academy. He served 11 years active and reserve service as an office in the United States Army. He is a graduate of the military police officers advance course.
The question of the relationship between police and resident is under a bright light and Kerry and Jim Picht will talk about whether Darren Wilson could have had options other than using lethal force with Michael Brown.
We hope you will listen in to the live show, Friday evening at 6:30 pm (right here) and call in with your thoughts.
We are then going to turn to the Middle East and ISIS. Communities Editor in Chief Lisa Ruth, a former CIA analyst and intelligence expert, who will join Jim and Kerry to discuss the threat of ISIS, the beheading of photojournalist Jim Foley.
Join CommDigiNews Hour Critical Conversations on Friday, 6:30pm edt - we want you to join the conversation.
1st. John Chapter 1 King James Version
John in his first writing to the church, makse it clear the purpose of this letter. He tells them the essence of eternal life, about the fellowshaip and the joy of being a Christain. He tells them his message is to bring them joy according to what God has given him to say. If we say we have fellowship but walk in darkness that is not true. But if we walk in the light, which is Jesus Christ, and that is made by his blood and forgivness.but if we say we have no have no Sin,the t
ruth is not in us,but if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us,and if we say we have nor sinned we make him a liar.

Approximately 40% of homeless youth are LGBTQ. Nearly all homeless youth service providers in the U.S. now serve our youth but very few are exclusively by, for and about LGBTQ Youth.
Joining Ina, Teresa and Michelle on CAN WE TALK FOR REAL on Wednesday August 20, 2014 is Jerry Peterson, Executive Director of The Ruth Ellis Center in Highland Park, Michigan serving the metro-Detroit community. The Ruth Ellis Center is a youth social services agency that serves the needs of runaway, homeless and at-risk youth. Incorporated in 1999, it is one of the nation’s leading organizations focusing on vulnerable youth who are experiencing residential instability
Being homeless brings its own level of stigma to LGBTQ youth and the definition for homelessness defies traditional boundaries. Many youth say “I have a home. I just don’t want to go there”. Opting for alternative housing (couch surfing, etc.) and/or the streets over unstable households. Sex trafficking transactional sex, even suicide are day –to-day realities. What can we do?
Peterson will be talking about the “Family Acceptance Project” which focuses on the harmful effects of family rejection and the importance of engaging family members who are outed by their children and other options for our youth than the dangers/victimization on the streets.
America’s next generation of LGBTQ youth need us to stand with them so that they can stand on their own. How can you help? Tune in Wednesday, August 20, 2014 to CAN WE TALK FOR REAL and be a part of the solution.
Join us in the fight to save our YOUTH. Call in 347-215-8985, show starts at 10:30est/9:30cst. Press 1 to speak.
God, through Boaz made sure that those who harvested in the fields left handfuls on purpose for Ruth as she gleaned. All of this was by God's design and had Ruth become satisfied with the provision alone, she and her mother-in-law would have missed the purpose of God that was not only for their lives but for unseen generations to come. The ultimate revelation of the King was in the making as they walked through God's provision for their lives.
Join us again this week as we explore the word of God on When Passion Meets Purpose!
We remember Elvis & Babe Ruth who died on this day PLUS more Pedro Pan kids writing their storires and a few thoughts with Jim Yardley about what is happening in Ferguson, Missouri.
