National Scouting Report Talks Softball Recruiting with Rusty and Robby

    in Sports

Welcome to National Scouting Report's Blogtalk Radio Show.  This show will feature some aspects of college softball recruiting.  Today's guests will discuss recruiting as it relates to high school and travel ball pitchers that desire to play collegiate softball on scholarship. NSR has been helping high school athletes obtain athletic and academic scholarships for over 35 years.  College coaches from all over the United States depend on NSR for accurate and dependable scouting reports on qualified student athletes.

Rusty Rigney joins our show today as one of the recruiting experts for sotball!  What makes Rusty an expert in softball recruiting?  First, Rusty has coached travel ball for many years.  He has "sat on the bucket" for countless hours giving instruction to pitchers.  Rusty has a daughter, Rachael, who is currently pitching at D1 Troy University.  If those two facts alone are not enough, well. Rusty is the long time President and CEO of National Scouting Report.  NSR is the world's oldest and largest scouting and recruiting organization.  Rusty's father, Bob Rigney, founded NSR in 1980.

Robby Wilson is also an expert guest today.  He is the Director of Softball Scouting for National Scouting Report. Robby has a B.S. in Exercise Science and has been a certified strength and conditioning specialist working with High School and College athletes for 10 years. As a previous college athlete and high school standout Robby endured the recruiting process himself and has seen firsthand, the changes over the years. As the Director of Softball, Robby works with College Coaches, high school/club athletes, as well as high school and travel coaches on a daily basis in pursuit of getting the athlete the right exposure and promoting those athletes to collegiate athletic programs for them to continue the love for their sport while getting a quality education.

Nite Callers Bigfoot Radio Presents: Washington Researcher Steve Wilkins

    in Paranormal

In continuing Nite Callers series on the American Sasquatcher, we bring you another American Bigfoot researcher Steve Wilkins from Washington state. Steve "Mojo" Wilkins  was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Steve joined the Navy in 1981 and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 2001.  Steve and his family moved from Cincinnati, Ohio to Washington State in 2004. Not long after moving to Washington, Steve renewed his boyhood interest in Bigfoot when he realized he lived in the Pacific Northwest, the mecca of Bigfoot activity.  In 2009 he was posting to a Bigfoot message board and met up with Steve Schauer who was living in nearby Tacoma, WA.  They met up and began researching in the Northern Cascade region where many Bigfoot encounters had been reported.  That's when the Washington Sasquatch Research Team (WASRT) was formed.  The two men were joined not long after by fellow team members:  John "Pine Marten" Tschannen, Rusty MacIntosh, Dean Higgins and Art Viars.  The team has been on dozens of expeditions between 2009 and 2015 throughout the state of Washington.

    Trace Amounts

    in Health

My two guests, ERIC GLADEN and SHILOH LEVINE, will be discussing their new documentary called Trace Amounts.  This film is the true story of what happened to Eric when he scratched the top of his head on a rusty nail at work, and went to the hospital where he then received a tetanus vaccine shot.  Eric's life changed forever as he began to have adverse reactions from this vaccine.  He describes the mental chaos of what our Autistic children are going through and what these symptoms feel like as your body and mind are being taken over and you become a trapped prisoner.  These Autism-like symptoms were caused by mercury poison, which came from the thimerosal (50% ethylmercury by weight) that is used in the tetanus vaccine.  Instead of giving-up, Eric is determined to find out the answers of what is happening to him, so he hits the road in his RV to travel the country seeking out doctors, specialists, and all the documentation he can find to solve this puzzle.  Please join us live on February 26th at 12:00 P.M. CST.  I will not be taking phone calls during this interview.  The film crew is traveling from location to location through the states promoting and taking interviews at the screenings.  Find the closest theater near you and buy a ticket to attend this film, it is absolutely amazing!  Clarksville TN we're bringing Trace Amounts to you in March.  I will let you know when tickets are available for purchase.

    Lugnuts and Horsepower: Special Edition

    in Sports

It was Thursday when NASCAR got an announcement that many knew would eventually come, but the impact is so great.  The rock of the Hendrick organization, Jeff Gordon, first told his family, then his team, and finally the entire NASCAR community that the 2015 season would be his final ride full-time in NASCAR competition.

In honor of Gordon's 24-year career, Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks are doing a special episode where it is nothing but talk of the sure-fire Hall of Fame driver and the legacy he has in the sport.

From his debut at the Cup level in 1992, where his bright rainbow car garnered in a new era in the sport, to his four championships, and the 92 victories he's attained, it is all talked about.  Even his not-so glorious moments such as his run-ins with Rusty Wallace, Clint Bowyer and most recently Brad Keselowski will be discussed, along with his impact outside the sport as a husband and father, and humanitarian.

This special kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. CT.
