The General Election is on November 21 2015.
Tune in and become and informed voter so when you go to the poll you can choose the RIGHT candidate for the next 4 years.
From the primary election to the runoff, early voting has increased 47 percent among black voters and 30 percent among white voters. Early voting has also jumped in a number of the larger urban areas -- Caddo/Shreveport (109 percent increase), Orleans (98 percent increase) and East Baton Rouge (88 percent) -- according to Couvillon. That would appear to be good news for state Rep. John Bel Edwards, the Democratic candidate for governor, rather than U.S. Sen. David Vitter, the Republican. Edwards has also been ahead in recent runoff polls. But experts and political operatives warned against drawing too many conclusions from preliminary early voting turnout. The runoff election is a different story. It's expected to be a close election, and Democrats have efforts underway to get people to participate in early voting. The Democratic Party says it has people in every parish working on early voting efforts. After the primary election, the Edwards campaign even said it expected voter turnout to be higher overall in the runoff.NOLA.com
