Welcome to "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", hosted by "The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli. This is not the average everyday sports show he is bringing to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. And this time, he is bringing in his top apprentice to help him run the lab - "Stat Boy" Andrew Gluchov, formerly of WTMY 1280AM Sarasota and The Sports Chronicles Radio Network. Be prepared for "mad science" sports talk at its best.
Our special guest "Test Subject" tonight at 8 pm EST is Donte Rumph, former SEC standout who has a very compelling story to tell following his stint with the Atlanta Falcons. Also, he will let us know about his tryout with the New York Giants, and what is next for him in and out of football. Other guest "Test Subjects" will be:830pm, Ralph Cindrich, NFL Agent who will talk about his career and his upcoming book "NFL Brawler"; 9pm Lowell Moore founder of What A Fan, who will explain what is What A Fan, how it came about, and the annual conference they have every Labor Day Weekend; and 930pm David Spada, co-host of "Sports and Torts" on TalkZone, and co-author of Talking Football (Hall Of Famers' Remembrances) Volume 1.
The beacons are lit, the experiments are on the chalk board, and the test subjects are at the ready. The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab is now OPEN for business..

On this episode of Talking In Circles we review last weekend's Coca-Cola 600 and has Toyota caught the other teams on the intermeidate tracks? What does that win do for Carl Edwards.
Plus, NASCAR legend Richard Petty gave his take on what he would like to see for changes in the NASCAR rule book and believe it or not, it made a ton of sense.
Also Ty Dillon is spending another year in the XFINITY Series in 2016. The original plan was to move Dillon to the Sprint Cup Series after 2 years of XFINITY Series racing but that is no longer the case. Is this a good move for RCR and Dillon? Or is this just a result of a team not being able to find sponsorship?
The Ratings for the Coca-Cola 600 failed to eclispe the Indy 500 for the first time in 10 years. Sign of things to come or just a blip on the radar?
Plus we preview the FedEx 400 Benefitting Autism Speaks from Dover International Speedway. We will win? Who will run good and who will struggle and who needs a good run?
Plus we take your phone calls. 917-889-8280
Do you know about the African American 371st Infantry of World War I that fought in France? Did you know that Sonya R. Hodges has dedicated her life to research and honor the men who fought in World War I to honor the memory of these dedicated soldiers?
Please join Sonya R. Hodges-Grantham and Douglas Culbreth for a discussion of the role played by the African American 371st Infantry Regiment in World War I to honor the memory of these dedicated soldiers.
The 371st Infantry Regiment, an African American unit of mostly South Carolinians came from small towns like Sandy Springs, Anderson, Edgefield, Ninety-six and Laurens.
The 371st was permitted to fight, after disembarking from their troop ship at a tiny French village in April of 1918 after learning that they had been transferred to the French army. The 371st was given French equipment, and had to turn in their prized Springfield rifles for French rifles. The unit was reorganized to fit the French army structure and spent the spring of 1918 training in French tactics, communicated via interpreters. That summer, the regiment was put into the line to relieve exhausted French and allied Italian units.
Sonya Renae Hodges- Grantham is a mother, grandmother, genealogist, author, graver, historian, and researcher, with a motto of "Get The Job Done and Get It Done Right". She is the Founder and President of the World War I - 371st Historical Society. A FLAG FOR THE FLYING DRAGON~
It's business as usual on the Flying Dragon. Their mission is to find a flag for the ship. Captain No Beard sighs, "Being a captain is hard work," as he watches the busy crew preparing the vessel for their next adventure.
Polly is giving out pretzels; Linus is polishing a lamp. Matie is cracking coconuts, Cayla is stuffing holes, and Hallie is swabbing the deck. High overhead, trouble is brewing, and it is not the weather.
Mongo does not want any help from the newest crew member, and it is creating a hurricane of a mess on board.
The team must come together and find a task that will fit Zachary without interfering with their own fun. On the way, they acquire a flag that will unite them as both friends and crew.
Join the problem-solving crew of the Flying Dragon as they find a flag for their ship and a job for Zach.
