Guatemala needs profound change- Months of protests have coalesced into unified outrage against Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina after the nation’s top prosecutors disclosed evidence that he was embroiled in a graft scandal. A national strike on Aug. 27 has shuttered schools and businesses and brought tens of thousands to the street, with many on SOCIAL MEDIAproclaiming, “I have no president.” This is a fragile moment for a nation that has never reckoned with the bloody legacy of its internal conflict, from 1960 to 1996, which saw the deaths of more than 200,000 Guatemalans, mostly indigenous Mayans. Guatemala has yet to dismantle the inequality, poverty and racism that gave rise to that conflict. The U.S.-backed elites who used state-sponsored terrorism to crush the 36-year insurgency still wield power
"Think Like an Entrepreneur” A true entrepreneur is bound by no rules other that the ones he or she creates for themselves. An entrepreneur thinks outside the box. They see opportunities and envision a future with them at the vanguard. They put ideas and ideals into motion today that yields revenue that will last for generations to come. They do this by drawing from life’s experiences and see gaps that no one is filling. As domestic and sexual abuse awareness grow, the common statement "Why didn't they just leave," still gets mentioned. Matthew Eaton will join the show today and talk about the 13 insidious rules of sexual abuse survivors. Many times we associate abuse with some form of physical abuse. However, the emotional abuse that goes along with the physical abuse can be more harmful, than the bruises. The bruises go away, but the emotional torment can take a long time to go away. Mathew will also share his story, and how he has survived. He now writes and blogs about sexual abuse, and is an advocate to raise awareness.

Violence has many forms and most are not physical, although we tend to focus on the physical form as the most detrimental. The most common form of abuse is verbal. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and we harm one another daily by not being tactful and showing consideration with our speech. We can also abuse ourselves, which not only hurts us, but those who love and depend on us. Abuse is loss of control based on insecurities, immaturities, and wanton disregard for ourselves or other people. We must all be mindful of our actions regarding not only one another but ourselves. The Lord commanded us to love the Lord God with all our heart, and all our soul, and with all our mind, but how can we do this if we don't love ourselves? Also he commnded us to Love our neighbors as we love OURSELVES... Again, how can we do this if we don't know how to love ourselves. Self-Love is the prerequisite for all external expressions of love. Abuse whether within or towards others, is evidence of some level of self-hate or lack of self-love. Join us as we uncover the root causes of Abuse and how we can learn how to stop it, this Monday, Aug 31, 2015 for Church in the Raw, call in # - (646) 652-2912. Four elements could be found defining social life in most societies: Moral rules were handed down by the God(s) and were inviolate. The most powerful of the God(s) were male. Human beings lived in tribes and loyalty to the tribe superceded loyalty to the individual. The controlling individuals within the tribe were mostly male and the most admired males were those who had proved themselves as warriors. The role of women was defined by their ability to procreate and and support and obey the warrior class. The pushback against the anarchy of modernity involved recreating tribal lives that operated by those moral rules that had been historically forged in humanity's struggle to survvive and exist as evolutionary imperatives.
In the evidence that history provides, why is it so difficult for people to identify the lie saying that a spirit-God made heaven and earth in six days--and why it can't be understood that Rome led a colonial military campaign into Israel BC 63, and started to oppress and kill people almost forth uears Yeshua who protest taxes to ceasar. How can anyone find that story believeable, when for one the act is conquest, and the story is told by in invading criminals produced the bible and made their evil deeds the the inspired word of God, What about Isaiah 53, can't anyone see the difference in a fictional writing from historic account? If world is not true in what way can the criminal be true.
