Suzanne is a regular contributor to a regional glossy called Merrimack Valley Magazine, and the author of the children's illustrated story book Rumplepimple.
In previous lives she was a high-tech journalist and internet marketing business owner, but now works on writing the great American novel along with children's books and magazine feature stories. She is mildly obsessed with vintage cookbooks, recipe boxes, and the intersection of sexuality and theology. She lives blissfully in Massachusetts with her wife Diane, a cat named Chicken, and a wire fox terrier.
On Wednesday mornings you can find her date-stamping books at a tiny, independent, volunteer run library.

1/21/2016 THIS Thursday SETH NEBLETT!!
Seth Neblett is an American photographer, singer and editor. Born in Highland Park, MI. He is the only child of American funk/R&B singer Mallia Franklin of Parliament-Funkadelic/Parlet fame, also known as the Queen of Funk and session drummer Nathaniel "Nate" Neblett. As a child, he sang on songs by Parliament, Funkadelic and Bootsy's Rubber Band "This Boot Is Made For Funk'n". In 1989, Derrick Ladd (A&R) offered him an opportunity to join the roster of the newly formed LaFace Records, but Seth declined because he was reluctant to leave his group to become a solo artist. His photography credits include the PBS P-Funk documentary "One Nation Under A Groove" and he also photographed Parlet (his mother Mallia, Shirley Hayden and Jeanette Washington) for the cover of "Funk U! magazine" in France in 1997. Most recently he shot the cover of Diva, Miki Howard's 2008 release "Private Collection" and the 2008 cover of cookbook "[Champagne & Collard Greens]" for Maxi B. Seth has also been credited at one time as Miki Howard's publicist. In 2008, Seth was the editor at large of an entertainment website launched that he conceived called grownpeoplesbiz.com. The site was defunct shortly after. He's created content with friends and music celebrities like Maxi B. of the Mary Jane Girls, Miki Howard, Sheila E. and others. Seth is writing a autobiography with his mother and her funk singing sisters, The Brides of Funkenstein and Parlet. Seth's Mother, Mallia "Queen of Funk" Franklin died at the age of 57 in 2010. Seth directed his first two music videos in 2010, "Favorite Time of the Year" for Miki Howard and "Dedicated" for Vesta Williams.
Please familiarize yourself with the new EMV card system, as many retailers will soon be switching to the new technology. An EMV card still enables a member to make purchases at retail outlets with their credit and debit cards, though the “swiping” of magnet strips on cards at checkout lines will be replaced with the act of inserting the EMV card into a card reader to be authorized. The technology, though different from what many are used to, is much more secure and offers added protection against fraudulent charges and identity theft. Many members have already received the cards, and our transition to EMV should be completed by the end of the first quarter in 2016.George Orwell once wrote “If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever.”While the forces pushing for centralization of power have been prevailing for decades, they haven’t won a total victory yet. Technologies that empower the individual and that tend toward decentralization—including the Internet, encryption, 3D printing, and cryptocurrencies—offer a powerful ray of hope, reasons to be optimistic about the future.One way they are waging the War on Cash is to lower the threshold at which reporting a cash transaction is mandatory or at which paying in cash is simply illegal.
In just the last few years…
Italy made cash transactions over €1,000 illegal;
Switzerland has proposed banning cash payments in excess of 100,000 francs;
Russia banned cash transactions over $10,000;
Spain banned cash transactions over €2,500;
Mexico made cash payments of more than 200,000 pesos illegal;
Uruguay banned cash transactions over $5,000; and
France made cash transactions over €1,000 illegal, down from the previous limit of €3,000.

Brad "The Bullit" Baker wins the Superprestigio in an epic battle with Marc Marquez. The factory Harley-Davidson rider put his mad skills to work on the perfectly prepared Superprestigio surface and put on a text book clinic to show the world just how good he is. From the opening practice session he demonstrated complete control over the field. Baker joins us LIVE tonight to discuss his victory as well as the overall experience of representing the USA in Barcelona! We will also get his thoughts on the 2016 AMA Pro Grand National Flat Track season ahead. Daytona is just around the corner.
Jared Mees finished 3rd to give the USA two spots on the victory podium in Spain. Mees was recently crowned the 2015 AMA Pro Grand National Champion in Las Vegas. Both of those results will be the focal point of our discussion with Mees. Jared and his wife, Nichole, recently announced that they were assuming the role of promoter at the Lima Half Mile National. We will discuss how that came about and what their plans are for the event going forward. The new Dunlop flat track specific tire was rolled out at DuQuoin in 2015. Mees rear tire was virtually worn out while the rest of the field had lots of rubber left. This created a controversy that continues even now. We get Jared's take on the topic.
Chris Carr served as color analyst for the 2015 season and both the Superprestigio and Superprestigio of the America's. We look forward to gaining valuable insight from the 7 time Grand National Champion.
