ROLLING STONES 50 YEARS OF SATISFACTION is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum's first ever major exhibition capturing the band’s legendary career. It includes personal items and extraordinary collections that have never been seen before by the public, and will be open until March 2014.
The exhibit, which takes up two-and-a-half floors of the Museum, celebrates the Rolling Stones’ incredible contribution to popular music from their earliest days playing small clubs, to their era-defining recordings and sold-out global tours.
Through the use of artifacts, film, text and interactive technology, generations of music fans will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with rare items from nearly every aspect of the Stones’ astonishing five decades at the top.
Craig Inciardi is Associate Curator of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and has worked at the museum since 1991. In addition to help building the museum’s permanent collections, Inciardi has had a lead role in many of the museum’s major exhibitions including Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction.
Greg Harris was named President and Chief Executive Officer of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in December 2012, where he had previously overseen development, special events, membership, board relations and government affairs since 2008.
“The Rolling Stones are the epitome of rock and roll,” said Harris. “This first-ever exhibit gives us an opportunity to tell the story of one of the definitive rock and roll bands. The experience should be on every music fan’s destination list this summer.”

Paint It Black: An Alt Country Tribute to the Rolling Stones
The idea of low-gazing roots rock combos revisiting classic tracks from the Rolling Stones catalog may seem like an unlikely pairing, but credit rookie label Reimagine Music for pulling it together seamlessly. Following a similar tribute to Bob Dylan offered up last year, the company has upped the ante in terms of name-value and gathered some of alt-country’s more impressive – if consistently hushed – voices -- among them, Matthew Ryan, the Great Lake Swimmers, Cowboy Junkies, Hem, Blue Mountain, Giant Sand and the Handsome Family, making this a collection of considerable merit. Still, the transposition would seem befuddling were it not for the excellent choices made by the participants. Although a handful of better known tracks are included (“Wild Horses,” “Paint It Black,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”), it’s quite the stroke of genius to emphasize more obscure entries like “Streets of Love,” “Before They Make Me Run” and “Coming Down Again,” all of which seem open to rediscovery. Likewise, the Stones’ flirtation with Americana, transposed via songs such as “Moonlight Mile,” “Sweet Virginia,” “Wild Horses” and “Faraway Eyes” find an ideal connection with the downcast delivery so prevalent here. An excellent compendium, this is one tribute that’s absolutely essential.

Drinking too much and throwing up? Being violated or showing some skin yourself? Backstage insanity? Bathroom naughtiness? COMEDIAN GREG REIFSTECK and his guest COMEDIAN ANNIE POWELL pull out their old ticket stubs and go back in time to remind you of CRAZY ASS CONCERTS. They each give their TOP FIVE CONCERT F**K UPS! as well as other dishonorable mentions. MOTLEY CRUE, OZZY OSBOURNE, TONE LOC, ADAM ANT, THE ROLLING STONES, and much more more musical madness!
