Her first album entitled “Introducing Angel Sessions”, was release in 1998. Her single, "She was never her", got radio air play on over 80 top BDS stations.
In 1999, Angel released her second album “Love Ride” on Volt records, a label Fantasy Records reactivated.

Angel recorded with Lenny Williams, William Hart of the Delfonics and LJ Reynolds of the Dramatics.
She also sang a duet with the late Ali Woodson of the Temptations single entitled “Vow” that was placed on the movie sound track, Down N’ Dirty, a Fred Williamson production, and background vocals for Earth, Wind and Fire and the Mighty Dells.

Celebrating 25 Years of Janet's Rhythm Nation 1814 Album!
Due to its innovative production and lyrical exploration, critics have regarded the album as the pinnacle of Jackson's artistic achievement. It became her second consecutive album to hit number one on the Billboard 200, as well as the top of the charts in Australia and the top ten in Japan, New Zealand and the UK. Certified sixfold platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), it has sold over fourteen million copies worldwide. It has been named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and is listed in the Quintessence Editions Ltd. reference book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
Its seven commercial singles all peaked within the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first album to achieve that feat. Jackson received nine Grammy Award nominations, winning Best Music Video, Long Form for "Rhythm Nation" in 1990. Music videos for the singles, which displayed a mix of Broadway-style choreography and militant imagery gained heavy rotation on MTV; Jackson was presented with the MTV Video Vanguard Award in 1990 for significant contribution to the art form. The supporting Rhythm Nation World Tour became the world's most successful debut concert tour by a recording artist. It proved her to be a consummate performer rather than a studio-only phenomenon, as well as a fashion icon among young women.

Your sex life has gone from hot to not. Want to turn up the heat? Try some pillow talk. Too embarrassed to have “those kinds of words” come out of your mouth? Afraid you won’t do it right? Our sexperts share 5 secrets that’ll make your partner beg for more. Plus, how sexually adventurous are you? Take our quiz to find out...
I’m not sure how it happened, but sometime after the birth of my son I lost the ability to talk dirty in bed. I could do it before. In the heat of passion, I could say things that wouldn’t be out of place in a Sharon Stone movie.
Then suddenly, the best I could muster was, “Faster, slower, a little to the left, down a bit, there you go.” When it came to really titillating pillow talk, I drew a blank.
I was bewildered. My husband was puzzled and, I think, a little hurt. What had happened to his R-rated woman?
It was connected to having a baby, I knew. But the change surprised me. I’d figured I wouldn’t have a problem separating daytime “Mom” from nighttime “Vixen.”
But as my son’s second birthday approached, I had to admit that I’d underestimated the muzzling effect of motherhood. I needed some help.
Marta Moran Bishop, author and poet, will sit down and chat with Karen Vance Hammond about her award winning paranormal novel Shoe Marks and her inspirational story. Shoe Marks is inspired by a true story and takes us deep into the world of the paranormal. A place where anything can happen.
Adopted at birth, Karen Vance Hammond was born with an ear disfigurement, dyslexia, and learning disabilities. Unable to read or communicate well at a young age, she was removed from mainstream education due to failure and placed in a special school. Karen didn't let that hamper her love of the written word. When she learned of a woman who lived in a home that had paranormal activity, she was intrigued by the story, approached the owner and asked if she could write a novel about their lives.
While living with her own doubts she got to work. After the final manuscript was complete, she submitted Shoe Marks; to publishing companies. After countless rejection letters, Karen was loosing all hope that Shoe Marks would be published.
Not only was it published, but it went on to become an award-winning novel in the literary category. It adorns the shelves of libraries and classrooms across the world. Shoe Marks is Synegebooks best selling title in the paranormal genre and has been in the top 100-seller bracket numberous times on Amazon. Karen's second novel, Secrets in the Shallows from The Monastery Murders series, co-authored with Kimberly Brouillette has made the top 100 on Amazon twice since its debut and is now an award-winning title. Falling in love with the craft of writing, Karen is currently creating her third and fourth paranormal novels, entitled The Crossroads and The Stone.
I hope you will join us as we delve into the world of the paranormal and talk with the inspirational genius that is Karen Vance Hammond.
