What is flat track roller derby?
Flat track roller derby is a fast-paced contact team sport that requires speed, strategy, and athleticism. The flat track version of the sport evolved in 2001, and has quickly grown to encompass more than 400 leagues worldwide. This is in large part due to the ease of setting up a flat track--it can be done on any flat surface that is suitable for skating, such as skating rinks, basketball courts, parking lots, and even airplane hangars. This greatly reduces the capital needed to start up a roller derby league, and allows small groups of people to get a fledgling league off the ground. The DIY spirit that drives the sport allows roller derby leagues to create their own unique identities and adapt their structures to reflect their local communities.Joining me will be Cupcake Chaos,Ferris Bruise. Her, Tyrannosaurus Lexxe.

Turning away from the truth is the response that many people have chosen today.
Millions have chosen to stay on that wide road that leads to destruction and many believers in Jesus Christ have changed their course and have departed from the faith for a religion that produces an emotional high and gives a synthetic satisfaction to the flesh.
I say synthetic because it is not real, it's only a short lived emotional high, just like alcohol or drugs and it will leave you empty and only searching for a stronger substitute to satisfy the soul.
The only substitute that can bring satisfaction is in the Lord Jesus Christ and when you choose to submit and follow Him there is no looking back.

About today's guest:
Dana World-Patterson has devoted nearly twenty-five years to teaching etiquette & image and has served thousands of individuals through her love to see people be better. The past six years has been a deep dive in eradicating human trafficking.
Her journey began as she noticed the rising anger in girls she encountered through her etiquette trainings. After months of observations, she asked a group of 15 girls she was mentoring, 'how many of them had been touched inappropriately?', and to her dismay 14 of the 15 raised their hands. Although saddened and hurt, a very important piece of the puzzle was revealed. The anger was a cry for help.
Amidst growing awareness of human sex trafficking, Dana joined forces as a founding member of the County Human Trafficking Task Force and when it sunset, she then transitioned as Chairperson of the Human Trafficking Task Force of Greater Milwaukee, an affiliate of the City of Milwaukee Commission on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. The HTTFGM is an assembling of like-minded individuals to be the community response to eradicating human trafficking.
Within this time, Dana World-Patterson, also established Foundations for Freedom, Inc., a 501c3, not-for-profit entity, that specializes in eradicating human trafficking through advocacy, education, and awareness; while addressing vulnerabilities and building confidence in women and girls.
