    Roller Coasters....WHEEE!!

    We all LOVE a good roller coaster!!! Ok...well by 'we' I mean the cool people.  We love feeling like we are flying right out of our seat...we LOVE having our life flash before our eyes....and we love that feeling you get right before we HURL!  Most of all though...we love that feeling of survival...of knowing we conquerred the massive beast...we did NOT let our fear stand in the way!  
    One roller coaster ride I could do without?  The emotional one....especially the nightmare of a ride called corporate ed reform.  This ride lasts WAYYY to long....it has wayyy to many people and sometimes it feels like it has many more downs than ups....it just SUCKS!!  How do we seperate ourselves from it?  How do we take ourselves off of this ride while the problems still exsist?  
    Don't expect me to answer that one...I was truly asking cause I need to know BAD!!!!  Anyone have any idea on how to stay sane in this crazy world?  Tune in and let me know cause the Calgon sure ain't working!!!

We are going to examine his feelings, prayers and the way that God brought him out of depressions and built in him perfect faith and perfect hope. As we look at the Psalms of David and determine David's victory we will walk in his footsteps so that we will receive the same victories. We will receive the same honor and glory from God that Davild received. So, sit back relax and listen to the message so that you will have a clear analytical understanding of how God delivered and encouraged King David to go on with victory in his hand.

    Keyboardist extraordinaire Daryl Davis joins Michelle on The Open Stage

    Michelle will interview  Daryl Davis, who has been keyboardist and bandleader for Rock ‘n Roll’s founding father Chuck Berry for over a quarter of a century. Chicago native Daryl Davis graduated from Howard University, with a degree in Jazz.  Additionally, he was mentored by legendary pianists Pinetop Perkins and Johnnie Johnson who both claimed him as their godson and praised his ability to master a piano style that was popular long before he was born.  


    Apart from The Daryl Davis Band, he has worked with Elvis Presley’s Jordanaires, Chuck Berry, The Legendary Blues Band, Percy Sledge, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Coasters, The Platters, The Drifters, and many others.  Daryl’s CDs American Roots and Alternate Routes, received rave reviews from leading Blues magazines, winning several WAMA (Washington Area Music Association) Awards for Best Artist in the Roots and Blues categories.  Daryl tours both nationally and internationally and recently released his Greatest Hits CD.  In addition to music, Daryl Davis is an author of a book, Klan-Destine Relationships, which tells of his extraordinary journey into the heart of one of America's most fanatical institutions the Ku Klux Klan.
