SORT BY Relevancy
We have all heard “Roll Tide”, the rallying cry for the Alabama Crimson Tide football. The call is synonymous with winning 15 national championships and crashing of waves of dominating its opponent. No one knows more about that crashing of the tide in football and in life than “Champ Fat Boy”, Roosevelt Patterson. He will join us to share his testimony from being a champ, taking a life, being imprison, and "Rising Above the Tide" -- our question of the day.
Played right offensive tackle for Alabama's 1992 national championship team, Roosevelt was drafted in 1994 by the Raiders. He also played with Rams and in the CFL. In 1998, Roosevelt was convicted of possession and conspiracy to distribute cocaine and was sentenced to federal prison. He served 5 years but uses his testimony as champ and as an inmate to transform kids, ie, fight the rising tide of drugs, poverty, and bad decisions -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBIsSxHq520.

The SHOW returns after finally being able to wipe that smug national championship look off of their faces. The crew will discuss the greatness that is the Alabama Crimson Tide Football team while also preview the Royal Rumble coming up on Sunday evening. Tired of your co-worker talking trash because he just laid the smackdown on your team? Wondering why you ALWAYS seem to be 2-4 after six games? Wouldn’t it be great if you had someone on YOUR side to make sure you always made the right move? Tired of getting the same advice from some idiot on the four letter network that gave himself a nickname?
When you decide your serious about winning. When you realize that maybe you can’t do this alone, tune in to FantasyJAM, The Buffalo and The Fish turn you into a winner.
These guys pull no punches when it comes to Fantasy sports. They have a proven track record winning multiple titles between them over the last 20 years of Fantasy Football. Buffalo and Fish aren’t out to make friends, their only goal is to help YOU win a title. So listen to FantasyJAM, what have you got to lose? I mean, besides yet another game.
Signing Day has come and gone, and Alabama rests happily at the top of most of the recruiting rankings. Since spring ball is still several months away, all we have to discuss is all of those fresh new five stars that are coming to Tuscaloosa. We'll be joined by William "Redfish" Barger, John Garcia Jr. and Rodney Orr to do just that. The action starts at 7 with Drew DeArmond, Cary Clark & Thomas Watts. Be there or be Auburn.

Fred Goodman is a New York-based author and reporter. His books include The Mansion on the Hill, which was a New York Times Notable Book and received the Ralph J. Gleason Award for the best music book of the year. His work has appeared in Rolling Stone, where he was an editor, as well as the New York Times and many national magazines. Allen Klein was like no one the music industry had seen before. The hard-nosed business manager became infamous for allegedly catalyzing the Beatles’ breakup and robbing the Rolling Stones, but the truth is both more complex and more fascinating. As the manager of the Stones and then the Beatles—not to mention Sam Cooke, Donovan, the Kinks, and numerous other performers—he taught young soon-to-be legends how to be businessmen as well as rock stars. In so doing, Klein made millions for his clients and changed music forever. But Klein was as merciless with his clients as he was with anyone else, earning himself an outsize reputation for villainy that has gone unchallenged until now. Through unique, unprecedented access to Klein’s archives, veteran music journalist Fred Goodman tells the full story of how the Beatles broke up, how the Stones achieved the greatest commercial success in rock history, and how the music business became what it is today.
