SORT BY Relevancy
We have all heard “Roll Tide”, the rallying cry for the Alabama Crimson Tide football. The call is synonymous with winning 15 national championships and crashing of waves of dominating its opponent. No one knows more about that crashing of the tide in football and in life than “Champ Fat Boy”, Roosevelt Patterson. He will join us to share his testimony from being a champ, taking a life, being imprison, and "Rising Above the Tide" -- our question of the day.
Played right offensive tackle for Alabama's 1992 national championship team, Roosevelt was drafted in 1994 by the Raiders. He also played with Rams and in the CFL. In 1998, Roosevelt was convicted of possession and conspiracy to distribute cocaine and was sentenced to federal prison. He served 5 years but uses his testimony as champ and as an inmate to transform kids, ie, fight the rising tide of drugs, poverty, and bad decisions -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBIsSxHq520.

Former players Matt Chatham, Brady Quinn & Derek Rackley explore the 2015 prospects for the SEC to produce another national champion after a couple year hiatus from the crown. The Big Ten is gaining. The PAC is gaining. The Big 12 has a couple national champion contenders in TCU & Baylor. FSU is still loaded with talent. But is this all just a passing thing and the SEC will return to dominance in 2015?
The talent still present in the conference was undeniable with so many top players in the 2015 NFL Draft again coming out of the conference. But that said, quarterback questions abound for the majority of the SEC teams heading into Week 1 of this season, so we discuss why most of the top QBs in college football don't seem to be coming out of the talent-laiden SEC.
Who's the favorite to win it all...Auburn? Alabama? Georgia? Or somebody else? Why does Mizzou get so little preseason respect? And much more on another engaging episode of the FBF Podcast!

Described as Pop Folk Music straight from the desert heat they are seriously burnin' down the house on a stage somewhere nearly every night of the week. Once again we got lucky when they found Madame Perry on Twitter and shared a link to their music. When I produced a cable entertainment show I could predict which of my guests was going to be big. Luxxe is going to be big.
Get to know them here, listen to their smokin' hot tunes and put them on your playlists.

Couch Kid New Music features Brad Wilson and his new release Blues Thunder. What has Brad been up to since his first visit on December 23, 2013 and what did it take to get Blues Thunder recorded and released are two of the subjects we will explore.
Singer/Songwriter Kwame Binea joins the show tonight to share his new EP "Shakedown." We couldn't wait for a Friday Night Dance Party to get Kwame on the program - his music is too important to not share tonight!
"Kwame Binea Shakedown" features four tracks including the group's first single "Let Go" (released in early April), their most recent single, "Hang On" (released in mid-June) and "Little Lady" and "Waiting," which have never been released. Musically, the EP showcases Binea's "roots rock" lineage, which is a fusion of rhythmic rock n' roll, ample dosages of infectious funk, silky soul, screaming blue s and just a smidgeon of reggae and funk.
