Tonights Program The latest news and details on the ride to Waco...
"Right now the state has only about one year of water supply left in its reservoirs, and our strategic backup supply, groundwater, is rapidly disappearing. California has no contingency plan for a persistent drought like this one..."
That's what one LA Times Op-Ed reporter has to say. What cannot be denied is that there is a major freaking disaster unfolding before our eyes. What's a little more vague is the awareness of the rest of the country, the potential ramifications AND perhaps, the root cause(s) for what is shaping up to be the most devastating drought in this country's history.
Tune in as Crafty, Adamizer and Bax attack this from all sides and ask the questions most are afraid of. No laughing matter but we wil try to mix in some comic relief and get a groove going as usual. We would love to hear your thoughts on it as well. Is it as bad as "they" say? Worse, or no big thinng? Let us know by calling in and joining the live chat.
Tune in, peace out and get that freak on!
Holland was born and raised in Hollywood, California, and currently lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was not uncommon for the entire clan to spend holidays, birthdays and other important life events together. Holland’s father is a jazz musician. He plays a haunting and beautiful alto sax. As a child Holland used to love watching his father play. Some of his fondest memories are of nights spent in all-night jazz clubs till the wee hours of the morning watching him pour every inch of his soul into his glorious sax. His mother, Keithe, is an avid reader. Holland’s childhood was filled with jazz, rock and roll, art and an endless stream of books. But there was also his love of baseball. Holland’s dad signed him up for the Hollywood Little League when he was eight years old. Baseball came easily to him. Hailing down flies beneath huge summer skies, watching the ball explode off his bat and disappear into a tiny dot. He soon learned that this was a game filled with poetry and miracles, an inch being the difference between failure and success.

About damn time too...it took me 8 YEARS to get him but I did!!!!!!! Please join me for an oh so special episode as a I celebrate the artistry of he who I affectionally refer to as my "husband"...Van Hunt...u don't wanna miss this shyt right here...He just dropped a dope new album,"The fun rises,The Fun sets"..
Van Hunt, a Dayton, Ohio-born musician, made his way to Atlanta where he drew acclaim for his production efforts and crafty songwriting, featured on recordings by such diverse artists as Dionne Farris, Rahsaan Patterson, and Cree Summer as well as the platinum-selling soundtrack, Love Jones. His own self-titled debut album arrived in 2004, instantly establishing Hunt as a distinctive and original talent with its idiosyncratic melding of R&B, neo-soul, funk, pop, and rock ‘n’ roll. Hunt received a 2005 “Best Urban/Alternative Performance” Grammy nomination for his breakthrough hit single, “Dust” that was featured on his debut album. That was then...I fell in love..fastforward to NOW...I love him even more..wait and see
