PDA endorsed candidate Rob Zerban is challenging Paul Ryan for the second time. Rob is a savvy businessman and solid progressive running on a Medicare for All, Jobs for All populist platform. Rob is ready to represent the working people of his district and return power to the people.
Rob embraced hard work and perseverance, learning that community and government can be a partner in creating the American Dream.
Since Rob sold his last business in 2008, he has dedicated his life to public service. He has gone door-to-door educating the public about preserving the wonderful natural resource that is the Great Lakes. He served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters. Rob was elected to the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors from 2008-2012.

With the help of Pell Grants and Stafford Loans, Rob attended the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, New York, a prestigious culinary school where he was trained as a chef and in restaurant business management.
After several years of direct service and managerial experience, Rob went on to create two small businesses. Together, his businesses employed 45 people and made sure they had family sustaining wages, excellent benefits, and the best healthcare. Rob understood that taking care of his employees and never taking for granted their hard work helped his companies thrive.
Rob is committed to protecting and building programs so future generations can continue to achieve and live the American Dream.

Congressman Paul Ryan is vulnerable in November's election. One year ago it would not have seemed possible; with Ryan being the darling of the corporate conservatives, and powerful chair of the House Budget Committee.
Things have changed in the 1st Congressional District. Rob Zerban has stepped up to challenge Ryan, and the race has become very interesting - as Ryan's fiscal policies, budget decisions, and financial interests make him vulnerable. The publicity surrounding the nuns' bus tour is a clear demonstration of Ryan's conflicts and hypocrisy.
Candidate Rob Zerban will be on to discuss this Congressional race.
