There is no Martin, No Civil Rights Movement without BAYARD!!

    in Entertainment

Hey there Tea Sippers!!  How many of you are OVER Ms. Stacey Dash's comments about Black History/Herstory Month?  How many are OVER the fact that BHM seems to only focus around Malcolm, Martin, Rosa, Fredrick and George Washington Carver? Well, I am going to take a different stab at this issue as I will be Dishing Tea on the critically crucial involvement of a man who was the Originator, the Architect, the Organizor, the Blueprint, the Administrator of what we now know as The Civil Rights Movement.  Often times, we have heard folks battle with the LGBT community about why and how The CRM is different from The Human Rights Movement aka Gay Rights Movement; however most folks either have not paid attention to, don't want to give credit to, or have no clue that The CRM was DESIGNED by a Black Gay Man named Bayard Rustin!

What happens when a Negative turns into a Positive?

    in Religion

A lot of time in life we face opsticles and opposition and we see it as only negative, but God always sees the outcome of a situation. If we looks at things throught the eyes of our savior, we will see that not all negative looking things actually end negative. Througout the Bible you see stories where the begining and middle look negative, but in the end we see that everything worked out for the good. Tonight the panel will be discussing some of these stories and giving stories of their own to let you know that you shouldn't run from the negative but run towards God who helps you see the bigger piture!! Enjoy and be blessed.

    Saturday High Noon

    in Politics

What's the matter with Kansas? "The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy recently reported that Kansas has the ninth-most unfair tax system in the county.  A Kansan earning $47,700 a year pays 9.5 percent of income in state and local taxes; but someone earning $1,191,700 pays an effective rate of just 3.6 percent."

So much for the 'trickle down' libertarian economic theories masterminded by the Wichita plutocrats Charles & David Koch; and implemented by Gov. Sam Brownback and his cronies in the state legislature.

    Program Summary: Feb. 6, 2016

1st Hour - A special series first produced by The Real News Network 2015 featuring Pulitzer prize winning investigative journalist David Cay Johnston on his astounding trilogy of books about economic inequality in the United States.

2nd Hour - Hear the latest (released for distribution 20 Feb. 2015) from investigative reporter, Tony Gosling & "Old Labour" Martin Summer as they host from Bristol's community radio station the "Friday Drivetime" show.
