SORT BY Relevancy
This week we have an update on New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to include a Town Hall meeting he had on Thursday, then Conservatives go berserk over a new textbook that paints Reagan in an unfavorable light and we also talk about how Ted Nugent got himself and a Republican he is campaigning for in trouble.
To discuss those issues we have a special guest, Liberal pundit Rick Ungar.
At the end we will have our trademark weekly hall of fame and shame for those politicians and prominent individuals who made great sense or shameful nonsense, respectively.
Join us tonight as we discuss ObamaCare (aka The Affordable Care Act), and other healthcare policy issues with distinguished guests Wendell Potter (Author, "DEADLY SPIN: An Insurance Company Insider Speaks Out on How Corporate PR Is Killing Health Care and Deceiving Americans") and Rick Ungar (Political pundit and Forbes.com contributor). Survivor spotlight on young adult colon cancer survivor Alma Hachey.
Richard "Rick" Ungar is a senior political contributor to Forbes.com, where he writes on American health care policy and politics, and the host of Steele & Ungar on SiriusXM POTUS Channel. He additionally appears as a political analyst and the liberal voice of the "Forbes on Fox" and other Fox News and Business television programs. Ungar moved into the world of journalism after a long career as a creative writer and executive producer in television, particularly in the world animation industry.
Patrick Cockburn is author of the new book “The Jihadis Return: ISIS and the New Sunni Uprising.” Getting Iraq, Syria and Saudi Arabia Wrong Mideast correspondent for the Independent Patrick Cockburn says there are extraordinary elements in the present U.S. policy in Iraq and Syria that are attracting surprisingly little attention. “In Iraq, the U.S. is carrying out air strikes and sending in advisers and trainers to help beat back the advance of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (better known as ISIS) on the Kurdish capital, Erbil. The U.S. would presumably do the same if ISIS surrounds or attacks Baghdad. Cockburn is author of the new book “The Jihadis Return: ISIS and the New Sunni Uprising.”

Eddie "A&R Eddie" Fourcell is currently head of A&R for Mary J. Blige's Matriarch Entertainment/Universal Music Group and head of 4Cell Entertainment, where he manages up and coming songstress Maryland Lavon.
His rise to a career as an A&R started in high school at the age of 17 years old when he was rewarded an internship with Island Def Jam through the schools internship program. At the time, the label was home to superstar heavyweights Jay Z, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Rick Ross, Fabolous, and Young Jeezy, just to name a few. After making several connections and networking within the company, Eddie was able to partner with industry heavyweights that saw management opportunities for artist/producers/songwriters and after graduating from College, was asked to intern for Mary J. Blige's newly created record label, Matriarch Entertainment. In less than a year of interning there, he was asked by CEO and manager/husband to Mary J. Blige to work as lead A&R on Ms. Blige's 11th studio album, My Life II: The Journey Continues (2011).
While at the company he has worked as an A&R on Ms. Blige's Think Like A Man 2 Soundtrack and Mary's most recent critically acclaimed masterpiece The London Session. He has also worked on projects for label artist Starshell.
A&R Eddie's ability to spot raw talent and develop them makes him amongst the hottest A&R's making a meaningful impact within the music industry.
