John Carver Show - You're Not Just...

    in Self Help

I've met tons of people who struggle with "I'm not good enough."  I, still, struggle with it from time to time.  In this show I share a sermon called "You're Not Just..."

There is a constant theme throughout the Bible that so many people did not think they were capable to great accomplishments.

“Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.”  ? Lou Holtz

I liken many people’s lives to a 16oz glass.  They only fill it with just a trickle instead of filling it all the way to the top.  Maybe they don’t see the glass as 16oz…maybe they only see a 2oz glass.

“Imagine what your life would be like if you were completely uninhibited by fear, pride, or procrastination. What would you be capable of? Anything.”  ? Richie Norton

“If I believe my ability is small, then my efforts will be shallow and my push weak. If I think I am not capable, I will not try with energy. Without strong belief, I won’t seek the knowledge required to achieve my goals. I will not launch out into the deep or push against obstacles with the force that confidence brings.” ? Stella Payton

Who are you surrounding yourself with who asks you the tough questions to, constantly, pull you from the temptation of getting stuck in the mud?

“If you are facing a new challenge or being asked to do something that you have never done before don’t be afraid to step out. You have more capability than you think you do but you will never see it unless you place a demand on yourself for more.” ? Joyce Meyer

“If you don’t live in the world of choosing, you live in the world of excusing.” James Altucher
